How to Integrate?Imperative # 1
An Integrated design team and process - dedicated to the integration notion! Integration should be implemented from inception to completion. The initial design stage is perceived as most critical to the process. The guidance of the System Integrator at this stage is indispensable!

• CABA created the XML/Web Services (oBIX) Committee to look at using Internet standards for interoperable facility management in April, 2003.
• CABA moved the governance to OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards).
• The goals are to move quickly and create non-binding guidelines - oBIX (Open Building Information Xchange) and eventually international standards.
