    2 Cups (1lb. Box) of ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda1 Cup Corn Starch1 1/4 Cups Cold WaterFood Coloring to Color Clay- if DesiredPaints: Watercolors, Poster Paint or Acrylics

    How to Make it:1. Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan and cook over medium heat.

    2. Stir constantly until mixture is consistency of moist mashed potatoes (10-15 mins).3. Turn it out on to a plate and cover with a damp cloth.

    4. When clay is cool enough to handle, knead it like dough until it gets smooth.5. Knead in a couple of drops of food coloring to make colored clay, shape,

    let dry and paint. Glitter looks cool too!6. You can dry your Play Clay creations by preheating your oven to 350. Turn off oven,

    place clay items on a cookie sheet in oven, and allow oven to cool.7. Make beads, frames, ornaments, decorations, gifts, hand print plaquesand more!

    Your Sneakswith These Cute Critters!What You Need:1 New, White Athletic Sock (mid-calf size)

    1 Cup ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda1 Rubber Band

    6 Ribbon or StringFelt, Markers, Buttons, and Glue

    for Decorating!

    How to Make it:

    1. Lay newspaper down on your worksurface.2. Fill the sock with 1 cup Baking Soda.3. Secure with rubber band.4. Tie ribbon around rubber band,

    cut off extra sock (cuff area).

    5. Decorate! Use Felt, Markers, Buttons, Sequins, etc.to make your Sneaker Peeker an animal,a monster, a flower! Anything goes!

    6. Stick them in your sneakers overnight for freshshoes in the morning!

    What You Need:2 Tbs. ARM & HAMMERBaking Soda2 Tbs. Flour

    2 tsp. Sugar1 Packet* Dry Unsweetened Kid Drink Mix

    (any flavor)2 Tbs. Water

    How to Make it:1. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.2. Add water and stir until the

    fizzing stops. (Differentflavors of the drink mix willyield different colors.)

    3. For more intense watercolors, afew drops of food coloring canbe added to the mix.

    4. Paint with them right away, orpour into jar lids or plastic trayto let harden for future use.*Packets vary from .16.23 ounces,depending on flavor. Enough drinkmix to make 2 quarts.

    Make your

    Own Shapes. . .And Eat Em Up!What You Need:

    2 Tbs. ARM & HAMMERBaking Soda1 Beaten Egg + 1 tsp. Water

    (for egg wash)

    1 Packet Active Dry Yeast1 tsp. Sugar

    1 tsp. SaltCornmeal

    1 Cup Warm Water2 Cups All-Purpose Flour

    1/2 Cup Bread FlourCourse Salt

    How to Make it:1. Combine yeast, sugar & water. Let stand 5 minutes.

    2. Add flours, 1 cup at a time, keep mixing!3. Knead dough until smooth (about 7 minutes).

    4. Transfer to bowl greased with vegetable oil and cLet rise for 1 hour in a warm place.

    5. Dust work surface with flour.6. Divide dough into 12-15 pieces and roll to desired

    thickness.7. Form dough into simple shapes! People, pets, etc.8. Preheat oven to 425. Bring a large pot of

    water to boil. Add Baking Soda to water.

    9. Carefully transfer pretzels to boiling water.10. Boil on each side for about 30 seconds.11. Drain on a rack for 1 minute.12. Arrange on baking sheet thats been dusted

    with cornmeal. Brush with egg wash.Sprinkle with salt.

    13. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown!

    8oz. Butter Softened1 Cup Sugar

    1/2 Cup Powdered Sweetened PinkLemonade Mix

    1 Egg1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

    1/2 tsp. Lemon Extract orfinely grated lemon rind

    23/4 Cups All-Purpose Flour1 tsp. ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda

    How to Make it:

    1. Heat oven to 325.2. In a large bowl, cream the butter,

    sugar & lemonade mix until fluffy.3. Beat in egg, and lemon extract.4. In separate bowl, stir together

    flour and Baking Soda.5. Add dry ingredients to batter,

    beating until thoroughly combined.6. Form dough into 1 balls and roll in

    granulated sugar.

    7. Place balls 2 apart on well-greacookie sheet. Bake until edges beto brown (10-12 minutes).

    8. Makes 5 Dozen cookies.

    For CoCo Pies!What You Need:

    2 Cups All-Purpose Flour1 tsp. ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda

    1/2 Cup Cocoa1/2 Cup Cold Water

    1/2 Cup Buttermilk1/2 Cup Shortening1 Cup Sugar1 Large Egg

    How to Make It:1. Heat Oven to 350.

    2. In medium bowl, stir together flour, cocoa and Baking Soda.3. In a separate bowl, use electric mixer to beat shorteningand sugar until fluffy.4. Add egg, salt and vanilla and beat 1 minute.5. Combine buttermilk and water. Add this to egg mixture.6. Mix in half of dry ingredients, stir. Then mix in the

    other half of dry ingredients, stir.

    7. Spoon batter into sealable plastic bag, seal and cut offone corner.

    8. Pipe (cookie-sized) portions of batter 2 apart on

    greased cookie sheet.9. Bake 8-10 minutes, or until firm to touch. Cool thoroughly.10. Meanwhile, make frosting!11. Combine all ingredients, adding marshmallow last.12. Spread frosting onto center of one Coco Pie and

    top with another.13. Makes 2 Dozen!

    Frosting:5 1/3 Tbs. Sweet Butter,

    Softened1/3 Cup Vegetable Shortening1 1/3 Cup Marshmallow Topping

    1 Cup Sugar2 Tbs. Light Corn Syrup

    What You Need:Flexible Cardboard

    4-ounce Plastic CupPlaster of ParisPoster Paints

    1/4 Cup Vinegar1 tsp. ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda1 tsp. Dishwashing Liquid2 Drops Red Food Coloring

    How to make it:1. Shape the piece of cardboard into a

    cone. Secure with tape.

    2. Insert 4-Ounce cup in top of cone to make the cr

    4. Cover cone with plaster of paris- dont get any

    the cup!

    5. Let dry. Paint or decorate cone to look like volca

    6. Mix vinegar, dishwashing liquid and

    What You Need:

    Vase or wide-mouthed clear jar1/4 Cup Vinegar3 tsp. ARM & HAMMER Baking SodaFood Coloring

    How to make it:1. Fill vase/jar with water.

    2. Add 3-4 drops of Food Coloring.3. Add Vinegar then Baking Soda.4. Drop in rice, buttons, pastaand watch them rise & fall!

    What You Need:2 tsp. Unsweetened Lemon Kid Drink

    1 tsp. Flour or Cornstarch4 tsp. ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda

    3-6 Drops Food Coloring

    4 tsp. Baby Oil or Mineral Oil

    How to make it:1. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.2. Mix baby oil and food coloring in separate bowl/cup.3. Slowly mix the colored mixture into the dry ingredients.4. Make small 1 balls of mixture. Place on wax paper to dry.5. It takes 24-48 Hours for Fizzies to dry completely.6. Fill your bathtub. Drop in a couple of Bath Fizzies and enjoy

    a whole new way to get clean!They make great gifts too!
