The Word of God

2TIM 3:16-17

All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for

correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate,

equipped for every good work.

ISA 34:16

Seek from the BOOK of the LORD, and read:

Not one of these will be missing; None will lack its mate.

For His mouth has commanded, And His Spirit has gathered them.

REV 19:9 Then he said to me,

“ Write, ‘ Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’ ”

And he said to me, “ These are true words of God.”

REV 20:12And I saw the dead, the great and the small,

standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was

opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which

were written in the books,...

PS 119:89

Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven.

ORIGINALITY OF THE BIBLE

The Scripture first proclaimed and revealed the Name of the True God, YHWH(YAHWEH), the Word of God

spoken and written, and (YAHUSHUA/YESHUA) JESUS CHRIST

as the Only Begotten Son of God.

Any other religions, sects or supposedly prophets that claim that have come and sent by God but have another message

and contradict the original revelation, use God’s Name and distort the Scripture

taking and adding words from it are not from God.

They are moved by either through a man or counterfeiting spirits-

the spirit of antichrist.

DEUT 4:2 “ You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you,

nor take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

PROV 30:5-6Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who

take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words Or He will reprove you,

and you will be proved a liar.

REV 22:18-19 I testify to everyone who hears the words of

the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues

which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.

God challenges any god and any prophet who claims the truth and says he is god, to declare the past and the future to know whether they are gods. And if there’s even one prophecy that they made and it failed, it is not from God.

There is no “holy book” today of any religion that has able to declare the past,

the present and the future other than the Bible.

IS 41:21-23

“ Present your case,” the LORD says.

“Bring forward your strong arguments,”

The King of Jacob says.

Let them bring forth and declare to us

what is going to take place;

As for the former events, declare what they were,

That we may consider them and know their outcome.

Or announce to us what is coming;

Declare the things

that are going to come afterward,

That we may know that you are gods;

Indeed, do good or evil,

that we may anxiously look about us

and fear together.

IS 46:9-10

“Remember the former things long past,

For I am God, and there is no other;

I am God, and there is no one like Me,

Declaring the end from the beginning,

And from ancient times things

which have not been done,

Saying, ‘ My purpose will be established,

And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;

PRESERVATION OF THE BIBLE

God gave us the Book

ISA 34:16Seek from the BOOK

of the LORD, and read: Not one of these will be missing;

None will lack its mate. For His mouth has commanded,

And His Spirit has gathered them.

MAL 3:16-18

Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD gave attention

and heard it, and a BOOK of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD

and who esteem His name.

“They will be Mine,” says the LORD of hosts,

“on the day that I prepare My own possession,

and I will spare them as a man spares

his own son who serves him.”

So you will again distinguish between

the righteous and the wicked,

between one who serves God and

one who does not serve Him.

He spoke His Words

Ex 19:9

The LORD said to Moses,

“Behold, I will come to you in a thick cloud,

so that the people may hear when I speak with you and may also believe in you forever.”

Then Moses told the words of the people

to the LORD.

JER 18:1-2The word which came to Jeremiah

from the LORD saying, “Arise and go down to the potter’s house,

and there I will announce My WORDS to you.”

God commanded it to be written

DEUT 31:24-26

It came about, when Moses finished

writing the words of this law in a book

until they were complete,

that Moses commanded the Levites

who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, “Take this book of the law and

place it beside the ark of the covenant

of the LORD your God,

that it may remain there as a witness

against you.

JER 30:2“Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, ‘ Write all the words which I have spoken

to you in a BOOK.

EPH 3:3 that by revelation

there was made known to me the mystery,

as I wrote before in brief.

1 JN 1:2-4

and the life was manifested, and we have seen

and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life,

which was with the Father and was manifested

to us— what we have seen and heard

we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with

the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.

These things we write, so that our joy may be

made complete.

Jesus confirmed its authority

JN 5:39, 46, 47

“ You search the Scriptures

because you think that in them

you have eternal life;

it is these that testify about Me; …

“For if you believed Moses,

you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me.

“But if you do not believe his writings,

how will you believe My words?”

DEUT 18:18-19

‘I will raise up a prophet from among

their countrymen like you,

and I will put My words in his mouth,

and he shall speak to them all

that I command him.

‘ It shall come about that

whoever will not listen to My words

which he shall speak in My name,

I Myself will require it of him.

JN 12:44-48

And Jesus cried out and said, “ He who believes in Me, does not believe in Me but in Him who sent Me. “ He

who sees Me sees the One who sent Me. “ I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness. “If anyone hears My

sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. “He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings,

has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what

will judge him at the last day.

JN 12:49-50

“ For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a

commandment as to what to say and what to speak. “I know that His commandment is eternal life;

therefore the things I speak,

I speak just as the Father has told Me.”

MT 22:29But Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the power of God.

LK 4:16-21

And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath, and stood up to read. And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. And He opened the book and found the place

where it was written,

“THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME, BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR. HE HAS SENT ME TO

PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES,

AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND,

TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED,

TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD.”

And He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on Him. And He began to say to them,

“Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”

Lk 24:44-48

Now He said to them,

“These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets

and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”

Then He opened their minds to understand

the Scriptures, and He said to them,

“Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day,

and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the

nations, beginning from Jerusalem. “You are witnesses of these things.

His words will not pass away

PS 119:89 Forever, O LORD,

Your word is settled in heaven.

ISA 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades,

But the word of our God stands forever.

MT 5:18 “For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is

accomplished.”

MT 24:35 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.”

1PET 1:24-25

For, “ALL FLESH IS LIKE GRASS,

AND ALL ITS GLORY LIKE THE FLOWER OF GRASS. THE GRASS WITHERS,

AND THE FLOWER FALLS OFF,

BUT THE WORD OF THE LORD

ENDURES FOREVER.”

And this is the WORD which

was preached to you.

1CO 15:1-8,11 Now I make known to you, brethren,

the gospel which I preached to you,

which also you received, in which also you stand,

by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according

to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

and that He appeared to Cephas,

then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of

whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep;

then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles; and last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared

to me also. Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.

MT 28:18-20 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “ All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on

earth. “ Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to

observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
