PHILIPPIANS 2:5-8 – In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant,    being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man,    he humbled himself    by becoming obedient to death—        even death on a cross!

THESIS DUE TOMORROW: QUESTIONS? Write a 3-4 page essay discussing the reliability of the gospel accounts. You may choose to argue that they are either reliable or unreliable, but you must engage with the evidence and/or objections discussed in class. Using hard evidence and at least 2 sources (one of which may be Cold Case Christianity), your essay must answer the following questions: Were the witnesses/gospel-writers present? Are the gospel writers trustworthy or would they have motive to lie? Was their testimony accurate? Was their testimony confirmed by other evidence or sources?

Page 6: Bible 10: Corroboration

WERE THEY CORROBORATED? What does it mean for something to be corroborated?

Corroborate – verb - to support or help prove (a statement, theory, etc.) by providing information or evidence

Example: I once had a dog named George. He was a black and brown bloodhound.
