Student Setup: One to One Macbook

Choose Your Language

Choose United States

Choose U.S Keyboard

Choose Continue. The wireless is already setup for you.

Select Continue

Ensure “Do not transfer now” is selected and choose continue

Select Continue

Select Agree

Leave all fields blank.Click Continue

Click Continue

Enter your normal student login information.

Enter your first space last name then press

TAB

Enter your normal last name then

student id number for your password

Click Continue

Take a snapshot or select a picture for your account.

Select Set time zone automatically.

Scroll as described on screen and start using Mac OS X

Click on this window before scrolling

Login using your first and last name.Last name then student id for the password.

Press Return to login

If you have an Apple ID enter the login information for iCloudotherwise click Show All

Click Users and Groups

Verify the student is a “Standard” user

Close out of System Preferences by clicking on red button.

Mount the users Home Folder

Add the students First Name space Last Name to the path

Login as the student, remembering to check the box.

Drag the Home Folder to the dock

Close all open windows

Leave the unit turned on.

When the unit restarts and is at a login screen with “Property of” the setup is complete.
