Betty Jean Link Cammack Stanley, 88, of Lumberton,
went to her Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. She was born on December 10, 1928, in Rural Northeast Oklahoma, just outside of Vinita, Oklahoma, to Bertha and Frank Link.
Betty was one of ten children. In 1946 Betty married John R. Cammack. After living in Carl Junction, Missouri for several years, they were transferred to Texas and resided in Nederland with their three children.
As a widow, Betty moved to Lumberton where she met and married Calvin Stanley. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Loeb in Lumberton.
Left to treasure her memory are her children, John F. Cammack and his wife, Janice; Brenda Ehrensberger and her husband, Tom, all of Lumberton; and Pete Cammack of LaBelle. Also surviving Betty are her grandchildren, Eric Cammack and his wife, Bree, of Bridge City, Heather Ashworth and her husband, Marc, of Nederland, Tommy Ehrensberger and his wife, Amanda, of Beaumont; and John Ehrensberger of Lumberton; great-grandchildren, Ashten Morgan, Harley Morgan, Keagan Stinnett, Kinsley and Kash Cammack, and Tripp and Adelyn Ehrensberger; and sister, Bonnie Ewers of Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, John Cammack and Calvin Stanley; five brothers; and three sisters.
The family wishes to thank Silsbee Oaks Health Care for the wonderful care and compassion given to Betty.
