THE TIZIANO PROJECT | BU NEW MEDIA TRAINING PROGRAM

In eight weeks, participants will learn the basics of professional multimedia and new media

journalism, including how to produce articles, photos, audio and documentary videosrelating to Palestinian issues and daily life. Participants will also learn how to promote storiesand maintain a strong social media presence.

MEETING SCHEDULE January 10 – February 28Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11 a.m. - 1p.m.

Attendance is mandatory at all sessions. If you are unable to attend a session, please notify Victoria Fine as soon as possible.

All assignments are due at the beginning of class.

Completed projects must be accompanied by release forms for all photographed subjects, as well as any archival material provided by others for the purpose of the story.

You are welcomed to use your own technology as much as possible. Please bring your laptopto class, if you have one available.

Assignment: Take one event from your classmate’s timeline and interview his orher parents and family about it
