5th Grade Teacher A big “Thank You” to Mrs. Erin Farley, who is in her third year teaching the 5th grade here at BCA. We are so excited and thankful for Mr. & Mrs. Farley’s commitment to serve in the ministry. Following the Lord’s calling, Mrs. Farley will be leaving us on December 19th to begin a new ministry with her husband who will be pastoring a church in Tennessee. Her new address: 1044 New Beason Well Road, Kingsport, TN. We will miss her dearly and will be praying for them as they serve together in “God’s Kingdom Work.” During this transition time, one of our current faculty members, Mrs. Jennifer Speelman, will be teaching the 5th grade for the remainder of the school year.

David Paramore Our founder, Dr. David Paramore, went to be with the Lord on Saturday. We are thankful for his vision, leader- ship and sacrifice to Bethel Christian Academy! He was loved and respected by all. He will be missed until we reunite again in Heaven one day. “God has him in his keeping; we have him in our hearts” In honor of the founder of our Academy, the school office will be closed during the funeral.

On the first Christmas eve, Jesus was born. He is the reason for the season, celebrating His love for us...no matter what the cost was.

Wear Your “Christmas Wear” to School Day Tuesday, December 19th. Dress up in your Christmas shirt, sweater, hat, necklace, etc. Regular school dress is required with one ex-ception: collared shirts are not required.

Candy Cane Grams The BCA Junior Class will be selling Candy Cane Grams beginning Monday, December 4th through Tuesday, December 12th. Parents, students, and staff may purchase a Candy Cane Gram to send to students or staff at the school. All Candy Cane Grams will be delivered to your child’s classroom on Friday, December 15th. This will benefit the Jr/Sr Banquet. See the attached flyer with detailed information.

Renweb Please make sure your contact information is updated on Renweb. Lunches can be ordered and paid for online as well as tuition can be paid online. Progress Reports were emailed this afternoon.

Health Concerns

Christmas Concert & Parade Tuesday, December 12th 6:30 p.m. Our Christmas program is always a wonderful time for our BCA family and friends to be together before Christ-mas to celebrate the birth of Jesus. This year, the “Christmas Parade” will be presented by K4-3rd grades, King’s Kids, Drama, Jr. High Choir, and Sr. High Choir. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to come and enjoy a great night of music and drama.

Honor Society Offering BCA’s chapter of the American Christian Honor Society will be collecting $1.00 from each student to purchase stockings for children through the Salvation Army. Members will be collecting the money during chapel this Thursday, Dec. 7th. Participation is optional.

Concessions for Home Ball Games A concession schedule has been sent to all athlete’s parents. It is

Winter Sports. We ask that parents work the concession. This will

help with students who congregate and socialize at the concession

counter.
