Loving Care With The Spiritual TouchValentineʼs wall hangings. Residents made severalspring and Easter decorations.
Vicky White has been providing a card making class forthe last 2 months. Residents made Valentines cards inFebruary and St. Patrickʼs cards for March. She pro-vides individual card craft kits for residents. They real-ly enjoy her visit each month.
The Bethany Home Bell Choir performs each month forresidents and guests. Karma Sinsel is their director. Ourbell choir is unique due to using no music. Residentsstarted out with music but liked the sound of using none. There are 16 members in the choir. They perform forresidents and guests every month. After Bell Choir isfinished we hold rhythm band or balloon ball. A funafternoon is had by all in attendance.
Jack Hultquist presented a very interesting program ofphotos of Minden history to residents. The photos weremade from glass slides. Residents showed much inter-est, with some helping Jack to identify people in photos. Our thanks to Jack for such a wonderful afternoon.
Pass the Parcel continues to be a favorite activity. Musicis played and several gifts wrapped in several layers ofgift wrap are passed around in a circle of residents. When the music stops, residents remove one layer ofwrapping. The music starts and it is repeated. The per-son taking the last layer of wrapping off gets the gift.Ice cream cones are always served at the beginning ofthe activity. We would appreciate getting odds and ends
