National Walk to School Day

• Over 40% participation at the Upper Elem. in 2013• Salem Upper participated in Walk at School in 2014

utilizing the new Tiger Trail. Teachers had the option to participate.

• Northwood R-IV grades K-8th participated in Walk at School

were rewarded with a yogurt parfait and Wii

dance party.

Halloween Candy Buy Back

Sponsored by two local dentist offices

Over 220lbs of candy collected and donated

to soldiers

Know Your Numbers Event

• Free Biometric screening for all Salem R-80 staff that are currently enrolled with the schools provider; United Health Care.

• BMI

• Blood Pressure

• Cholesterol

• Glucose

• 117 participants registered for the Event

• Insurance provided a $75 incentive for completing an online survey.
