• 1. Make sure you have the .SHP, .DBF, and .SHX• 2. Make a copy of your files before editing• 3. When finished editing, make sure you save with

1. Connect to .SHP files via HTTP2. crossdomain.xml required in root directory of your
web/application server3. Web-based SWFs containing the map will NOT connect to
SHP files on your local machine4. Web server must support .SHP MIME type
• IIS by default does not support .SHP
