Good Install Practices:Convert Files to 2016 (PDM)Instructions for Upgrading SOLIDWORKS files within EPDM are in the Installation Guide in the section “Upgrading SOLIDWORKS Files”. This details:• How to install the File Upgrade Utility.• Using multiple computers to share the workload.• Configuring options such as:

– Creating new versions vs. overwriting latest versions

– Moving revision tags or incrementing them– And more!

• Review the instructions carefully to determine which option choices best suit your site.

• As previously stated, performing an upgrade of all the SOLIDWORKS files is optional, but recommended.
