The much-feared C-word is fast approaching, and here at the Best Pages office we can’t profess to be particularly organised.

Gini is sticking her fingers in her ears and shouting “Lalala” very loudly whenever the day of tinsel and baubles in mentioned, and Lisa actually hid under the table and threw a paddy – with clenched fists and real tears and everything – when she heard Tracy and Dickie talking about braving the crowds to get presents ready for the big day.

There’s no avoiding it though, guys – the mince pies are already in the shops, the advent calendars are flying off the shelves and Tracy’s started polishing her bauble earrings. Christmas is coming.

how are you getting on? Do you have all your presents bought by now, or are you more of a run-round-the-town-centre-panicking-on-Christmas-eve-type like us lot? Well, we’re planning on starting slightly earlier this year – we’ll be in the shops no later than 23rd December to avoid the Christmas rush. Yep, that should do it.

however, the rapid approach of Christmas doesn’t stop everyday life from happening in the meantime – so keep us handy by the phone in case you need a local tradesperson or service.
