10 Who Moved My Cheese Dr Spencer Johnson

Suitable for any age and taking only an hour to read this book is a must for anyone who is seeking something better in life. Whether its freedom, wealth, love or health, itll help you find what youre looking for in a changing world. If youve been in a period of change and read this book then Im sure itll be in your own top 10 business books of all time.9 Buzz Marketing Mark Hughes

This book is the one you might find surprising. You may have heard of all of the other books in my top ten but this one was a surprise to me too. Not being a well known classic, I didnt expect it to such a fantastic book and so well written.8 The Tipping Point Malcolm Gladwell

This book really is a classic. If youve ever wondered what makes some products or trends take off worldwide while others just fall by the wayside, this book will enlighten you. Filled with real life case studies this book is a must read.7 The Long Tail Chris Anderson

Were no longer restricted to just a few blockbuster movies, or the books in your bookstore, or the songs in your music store. The Internet has given us almost infinite choice, even in the tiniest of niches. This book explains how to capitalise on this and make money from the long tail.6 The 4-Hour Work Week Timothy Ferris

Ever fancied outsourcing most of your business and some of you life so you can spend your time doing the things you enjoy? Of course, thats why youre reading this and thats why you should read this book. It changes everything and could have more impact on your life than any of the other top 10 business books of all time.5 The Richest Man In Babylon George S. Clason

A little like Who Moved My Cheese in that it wont take long to read and its suitable for all ages. It lays down the fundamental principles of building wealth which everyone should know. Ive read it three times and I still love it.4 Rich Dad, Poor Dad 2 The Cashflow Quadrant Robert T Kiyosaki

This is the sequel to number three below. It builds on the principles in the first book and details what the author calls the cashflow quadrant. Dont be put off by the terminology, this book really did change my life for the better.3 Rich Dad, Poor Dad Robert T Kiyosaki

Before you read the sequel above you should read this one. If youre still doing your day job and are looking for a better life this book is a real life changer. I should warn you that this book will enlighten you so fundamentally that youll never think the same way about work, business or money again. Be prepared for change if you read this, one of the most popular of the top 10 business books of all time.2 The E Myth Revisited Michael E. Gerber

Written by one of the top small business consultants in the world this book explains why most small businesses fail. More importantly it explains how to design your business so that it gives you exactly what you want from it. If every small business owner read this book I truly believe the failure statistics would reduce dramatically. Ive read this one twice too and I plan to read it again soon.1 Think and Grow Rich Napoleon Hill

This is a true classic and had rightly made the top slot in the top 10 business books of all time. Its such a classic that I bought the rights to an audio version and I give the first two chapters away free as my email list sign up incentive. I often listen to it in my car and on my iPod and Ive even read the paper versi

on twice. It details the results of a twenty five year study on the wealth building secrets of over five hundred of the wealthiest people in the world. Its broken down into thirteen principles which anyone can follow. The reason its my number one is that its basically been my reference book and my business bible. If you only read one book this year it should be this one.

20 Direct from DELL Michael Dell with Catherine Fredman

If you want to read about a business weve all heard of and which achieved a phenomenal rate of growth then this is the book for you. It seemed in placed like it was just an advert for DELL, which is why I didnt rank it higher.19 The Essays of Warren Buffett Lawrence A. Cunningham

This book is created from the classic letters Warren sends out to his shareholders. Once the richest man in the world, his thoughts and ideas about business are obviously worth taking on board.18 Striking it Rich Jaclyn Easton

This book is a case study of 23 massively successful Internet businesses that youve probably never heard of. Published in 1998 its technical content is outdated but its still a very interesting read.17 The Intelligent Investor Benjamin Graham

This is considered by many to be the bible on investing. Weve already mentioned Warren Buffett but this book was written by the guy who taught Warren Buffett about investing. If youre an investor then you absolutely need this book as reference. Its a bit heavy going but the content is excellent and it easily makes my list of top rated business books.16 Losing my Virginity Richard Branson

This is a great autobiography, detailing how Branson built up the Virgin brand from nothing. It starts right back in his school days when he bred budgies to make money. Its a very inspiring book if you feel you need some inspiration right now.15 The Economic Naturalist Robert H Frank

This book explains how theres an economic reason for almost everything. Why do brown eggs cost more than white? Why is there a light in your fridge but not your freezer? This book answers them all, in economic terms.14 Inside Steves Brain Leander Kahney

No, its not a biology book. Its all about Steve Jobs, the head of Apple. When youve read this book youll have a great admiration for his unique mindset and how only he could have take Apple to where it is today. This is one of my favourite top rated business books.13 No B.S. Wealth Attraction for Entrepreneurs Dan Kennedy

As the title says, this book tells it how it is. How to change your behaviours and attract wealth. Its author is probably one of the most talented marketing guys who ever lived. In fact, another of his books also makes number eleven.12 Anyone Can Do It Duncan Bannatyne

This is my highest ranking biography/autobiography. Reason being, this guy is one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the UK and he tells it how it is. Ive loaned this book out to friends and family more than any other and sometimes I have to fight to get it back. Buy it, read it, make your kids read it, then get it back and read it again.11 The Ultimate Sales Letter Dan Kennedy

In any business you have to sell something and youll have to write sales letters

of some kind as a result. Whether its direct mail, adverts, web pages, theres no escaping it. This book is priceless, giving real examples of what has been proven over and over again to make sales and get results. Its my highest ranking book this week simply due to the amount of extra sales and money itll make you when you implement the concepts within it.
