Interview process:

All students completed application formsThe standard of applications were of a high standard taking on board the age of the candidates10 - 15minutes interview with in a designated meeting room Putting nerves to one side students went through the same process as Bernicia's apprentice applicantsConstructive feed back to students and schools resulting in offer of work placements

Health & Safety induction:

All students attended compulsory induction

All students were shown the work place (PMD)

The Ashington Learning Partnership are incredibly grateful to Bernicia for the opportunity to collaborate with one another on Careers, Work Related Learning and Enterprise Education projects. The ALP and Bernicia hope to continue to work in partnership to enable young people from the Ashington locality to achieve their potential and have the opportunity to become responsible and effective citizens, employees, employers, entrepreneurs and leaders of the future. We have seen over the last few months how our students have developed and grown with the support of their mentors from Bernicia and we would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Bernicia but also our students for seizing the chance to make the most of a fantastic learning opportunity.
