New Delhi: The conspiracycharge against senior BJP le-aders L K Advani, M M Joshiand Uma Bharti in the BabriMasjid demolition could berevived with Supreme Courtnoting that the charge wasdropped on a technicality andalso suggested joint trial ofthe accused.

The demolition case wasback in focus just ahead of thefinal round of polling in UttarPradesh with a bench of Jus-tices P C Ghose and R F Nari-man saying that the conspira-cy charge was dropped mere-ly on a technical ground. The

conspiracy charge was drop-ped by a Rae Bareli trial co-urt.

At present, the trial aga-inst BJP leaders is going on ina Rae Bareli court on chargesother than conspiracy whileproceedings against “unk-nown persons” with regard tothe demolition are also beingheard in a Lucknow court.
