Ultrapolymers Group was founded in October 2002 in Belgium, to distribute polymers for major polymer producers in several countries in Europe. In the meantime the Ultrapolymers Group has grown to one of the biggest Pan-European polymer distributors.

With offices and warehouses in most of the European countries, Turkey and South Africa, Ultrapolymers established a commercial network with a local presence to serve its customers and suppliers in the best possible way.

We offer a comprehensive product portfolio of raw materials covering commodities, engineering plastics, thermoplastic elastomers and synthetic rubbers. We can deliver any quantity from 1 bag to a full truck load.

Our staff offers first class customer service and is trained to assist you with any enquiry concerning polymers. Whether your question is technical or commercial, we have the expertise to help. An in-house training programme has been established to give all our employees a thorough understanding of materials, processes and markets. We believe in the value and knowledge of our staff and invest in our people to be the best in the industry.

With 27 offices and more than 45 warehouses in most of the European countries, Turkey and South Africa, Ultrapolymers established a commercial network with a local presence to serve its customers and suppliers in the best possible way.

Our experienced team is available to help customers select the most effective material for their application. Ultrapolymers has comprehensive technical and commercial resources coupled with years of experience working with a wide variety of materials and applications.

Within the Ultrapolymers group a dedicated business development team is active to discuss, explore and investigate new market trends, new applications etc. This market-wide and extensive knowledge will be used to guide our customers throughout their entire project. To support an existing or a new project, Ultrapolymers can provide samples for test runs. We can also provide case studies and plaques to aid product development.

World-class suppliers / Pan-European distribution

Partnership with industry-leading suppliers allows Ultrapolymers to distribute world-class brands throughout Europe. Special relationships with our suppliers enable us to use technical and commercial resources that benefit our customers on a local level.The Pan-European distribution agreements allow Ultrapolymers to call on stocks from warehouses across the group, providing our customers with increased security of supply.

Product design and Moldflow® analysis

Ultrapolymers operates in partnership with customers, offering technical and commercial consultation. We have vast experience in design, innovation, material selection, troubleshooting and process optimisation, which could offer cost saving benefits and prevent issues with the application or process.From the inception of the project, we are able to analyse the complete moulding process and offer on-site support from the design stage through to final production. We can perform a design analysis or Moldflow® analysis to detect where problems could occur during processing.

Logistic infrastructure

Central warehouse and local warehouse hubs

Ultrapolymers has a widespread logistics network throughout Europe. Local warehouses are serviced by our central group warehouse, which allows us to be efficient and flexible.

The value of creating partnerships with reliable logistics suppliers is key in a fast and responsive supply chain network. Together with a great software platform, Ultrapolymers is able to track and analyse each and every step of the supply chain process from production through warehousing to the customer. This enables Ultrapolymers to act and supply in a fast and effective way towards the customer.

Different packaging opportunities

As a customer-oriented organisation, Ultrapolymers is able to repack the plastic granulate into the requested packaging, i.e. octabins, 25kg bags, bulk, etc.

Custom Compound and Rotomoulding

Custom compounds

Ultrapolymers has access to a superb network of supplier assets in order to develop and manufacture custom compounds. This makes it possible to react to customer demands in a fast and flexible way. Our services include small lot production, full colour compounds, specialist grades and filled materials.

Partnership with industry-leading suppliers allows Ultrapolymers to distribute world-class brands throughout Europe. We can call on stocks from warehouses across the group, providing our customers with increased security of supply.

Rotomoulding

Ultrapolymers is a dedicated supplier to the rotomoulding industry. As the distribution partner of LyondellBasell, Ultrapolymers offers granules and powder based on Lupolen polyethylene. Produced using a unique catalyst system, the range offers unrivalled mechanical performance. Lupolen is also used as the base material for our broad range of compounds, such as custom colours and UltraFoam (PE foam).Ultrapolymers is active in developing new materials for rotational moulding. Exciting developments include: tough, high impact resistant polypropylene; easy to process UV stable plastomer for flexible applications and soft touch products (ethylene based, octene plastomer, using a metallocene catalyst) and co-polyester produced by A-Resins, offering excellent thermal stability, stiffness and chemical resistance.Our broad range of grinding and compounding capacities, as well as a dedicated laboratory for testing, makes Ultrapolymers the ideal partner for rotomoulding.

Ultrapolymers offers a benchmark portfolio for flexible and rigid packaging. Our portfolio for flexible packaging covers traditional film conversion technologies (blown, cast, mono- or bi-oriented.) For rigid packaging applications we can offer especially designed materials with high fluidity, even for demanding thin-walled injection-moulding applications.Our portfolio of engineering materials for the packaging industry offers properties from conductivity to high heat resistance. For every packaging application, we can find the right solution.For higher demanding applications we offer a broad range of food approved engineering resins.

In the Building & Construction market, long lasting UV weatherability, high heat resistance, along with impact toughness can all be a requirement.
