Tonya Lovorn (Music Director) is in her first year as the head choir director at Belton High School. She has been a music educator for 10 years, previously teaching at Temple High School and China Spring High School. Mrs. Lovorn currently directs A Cappella Choir, Bel Canto Choir, Men's Choir, and Madrigal. Mrs. Lovorn has a Bachelor of Music Education degree and a Master of Music degree from Baylor University and is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association and the Texas Choral Directors Association. Her previous production experience includes serving as music director in Temple ISD for Into the Woods, Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray, Les Miserables (assistant director), Sweeney Todd, Urinetown, Secret Garden (assistant director), The Wiz, and Footloose. Mrs. Lovorn would like to thank her extremely patient and loving husband, Allyn, for all the “daddy duties” he completes with their kids, Kaitlyn and Parker, while she is working with her “other kids” in Belton ISD. Travis Campbell (Asst. Music Director) is serving in his first year as the assistant choir director here at Belton High School. Mr. Campbell earned his B.A. in Music from Texas A&M University. He has served in the past as Music Director for Young Frankenstein, and as Assistant Stage Manager for A Little Night Music. On the stage, some of his favorite shows to appear in have been: Shrek the Musical, Carousel, Young Frankenstein, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Godspell. Mr. Campbell is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association and the Texas Choral Directors Association. Finally, he would like to thank all of the cast for their hard work in putting this show together and to you, the audience member, for coming to support the arts in your community. Enjoy the show! Miranda Ashley (Choreographer) was born and raised in the uniquely multi-cultural Rio Grande Valley. Miranda began her 18 years of dance experience in Harlingen Texas, and eventually became involved in the Cosmopolitan Ballet Theatre, where she is currently the Assistant Director of Summer Intensives. Miranda has taught dance since she was 12, and at the age of 20, she opened her own Dance Studio with the Lyric Theatre in Brownwood, Texas. There she was the owner of the Lyric Dance Studio and choreographer for the Lyric Theatre. Miranda is trained in several methods of Ballet, including the Vaganova method, along with Jazz, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Ballroom, and Folkflorico (part of the cultural heritage of the Rio Grande Valley). Miranda has worked with various performers, including members of Broadway’s Wicked, Footloose, and Les Miserables, DJ Smart, Brandon Perry Russell, Chase Madigan, and Tangy Lockman. Some of Miranda’s accolades include the 2014 International Models and Talent Association’s “International Dancer of the Year,” as well as the 2013 State 4-H Championship in Choreographed Routines. Miranda’s choreography credits include: The Lion King Jr., Willy Wonka Jr., The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Oliver, Footloose, and South Pacific. As a performer, she has appeared in numerous productions, including Oklahoma! (Dream Laurey) and The Nutcracker. Miranda is currently the owner and director of The Performing Arts Studio of Central Texas in Temple Texas. Richard Thomas (Producer/Conductor) Mr. Thomas currently serves as the Coordinator of Fine Arts for Belton ISD. Here in Belton, he has conducted the pit orchestras for Little Shop of Horrors, Beauty and the Beast, and The Drowsy Chaperone. Previous theatrical conducting experiences have included productions of The Wizard of Oz, Fiddler on the Roof, Singin’ in the Rain, two productions of Grease, two other productions of Little Shop of Horrors. In his student years (a LONG time ago!), Mr. Thomas performed as an actor/singer/dancer in productions of La Boheme, Hello Dolly, The Crucible, and Godspell. He holds degrees from Baylor University and Lamar University, is a member of TMEA, TBA, TMAC, TETA, and TMAA, and is a proud lifetime “honor thespian” member of the International Thespian Society. Mr. Thomas would like to express his love and appreciation to his wife (Sarah) and his twin SENIOR daughters (Rachel and Rebekah) for their support and patience during the annual craziness of musical season. “Because I knew you, I have been changed for good”

Adam Adair (Radio Operator) is 15, and a freshman at Belton High School. He has been in Theatre since 7th grade, and has a sincere passion for acting. He has been seen in Game of Tiaras (Guard 1), Alienated (Wallace), Legally Blonde Jr. (Warner Huntington III), Dystopia (Gamemaster), All I Need I Ever Learned

by Being in a Bad Play (Director), Peter Pan Jr. (Peter Pan), and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Lysander). He swims on the BHS Varsity Swim Team and in his free time he reads. "'Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.'" ~ Albus Dumbledore

Vanessa Ake (Ensemble) is a freshman at BHS. She has previously appeared at BHS in Game of Tiaras (Blood Packet Girl). Other plays include Haphazardly Ever After (Foley Fairy), Betweenity (Lights), Circus Olympus (Atalanta), The Rehearsal (Deb), and Law and Order Fairy Tale Unit (Evil Queen), all at South

Belton Middle School. Vanessa is being inducted into the International Thespian Society in April. She is also one of the managers of the Lady Tiger JV soccer team. Animal rights and welfare, baking, and cosmetology are a few of Vanessa’s interests. Vanessa works hard in school and dreams of pursuing a career in Veterinary Medicine. As William Longgood said, “Dreams and dedication are a powerful combination.”

Annie Bailey (Ensemble) is a 9th grader at BHS. She has previously been seen in Hairspray at Temple Civic Theatre, Legally Blonde Jr. (Vivienne), Dystopia! The Hungry Maze Game of Divergent Death (White) and Alienated (Serena) at NBMS. At school she is involved in Chamber Orchestra and the student to student

program. Outside of school she is in the Vivace orchestra at Academie Musique and has participated in the region orchestra for 3 years.

Coltan Beaird (Set Crew) is 16, a sophomore at BHS, and very excited to be involved in a musical production for the first time. "Honestly, I'm just happy to be here."

Emily Bean (Set Crew/House Crew) Maggie Bean (Asst. Costume Manager) Krista Bentley (Costume Crew) is a freshman at New Tech. Matthew Watkins (Shore Patrolman) is 18, a senior at Belton High School, and has been in choir all 4 years of high school, in addition to 4 more years in middle and elementary school. He has never been in any previous plays and is makes his stage debut as a senior. He plays guitar for fun, and also loves sports

and music. He likes reading informational books and has lots of hidden knowledge, and is currently teaching himself piano. A famous quote he likes is... “Push yourself, because no one else is going to do it for you”.

Aurora Yauk (Ensemble) is 16 and South Pacific is her first musical at BHS Theatre has been part of her life since she was born and she loves it. She has been seen at the Tablerock Amphitheater in Salado, Texas in A Christmas Carol (Ginger/Belle understudy). She spend the summer in Beaumont at Beaumont

Community Players in Beauty and the Beast (Plate/Villager). She loves singing and reading in her free time. Aurora is planning on acting in community theater all over to show all her talent and shine even if she is playing ensemble all her life.

Production Staff/Faculty Melissa Stuhff (Director) is in her first year at BHS, but in her 7th teaching theatre and directing in Belton. She graduated from Hardin-Simmons University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Post-Graduate Education Certification. While at Hardin-Simmons, she acted, stage-managed, designed lights, directed and even designed a costume or two. She was awarded as a Best Main Stage Student Director with her first ever full length production of Little Women and hasn’t looked back since. Ms. Stuhff is a member of the International Thespian Society, Alpha Psi Omega, International Theatre Honor Society and Sigma Alpha Iota, Women’s Music Fraternity. Before teaching, Ms. Stuhff stage managed at several theaters in Dallas and loved every crazy minute. In her ‘free time” Ms. Stuhff enjoys cross stitching, making random jewelry and a little dancing. She would like to thank her South Belton family for encouraging her to pursue her move to the high school; the BHS fine arts department for welcoming her with open arms; James, for encouraging her and understanding when she is busy; Mel, for being an incredible partner and putting up with her crazy ideas but most importantly, her fantastic students who have trusted her and thrown some new ideas their way and who have already taught her so much! "Vita Brevis, Ars Longa” Melissa Edwards (Technical Director) joined the BHS Theatre Department in 2013. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Theatre and Dance - Scenic Technology. After college she took a job at the Studio Theatre in Washington DC where she served as one of three scenic carpenters building 9-10 shows a season. When she returned to Texas she continued her woodworking skills building cabinets and furniture with the WIM Group in East Austin. The musicals in which she has served as Technical Director at Belton HS include Guys and Dolls, Little Shop of Horrors, Beauty and the Beast, and The Drowsy Chaperone. She has a wide range of interests and talents but her favorite pastimes include bowling, shopping for shoes, finding how to videos on YouTube and crafting. She would also like to thank her husband Daniel for supporting her love of musicals and for believing in her, always. Her favorite motto is "why buy it when you can make it?"

Evan Taylor (Assistant Stage Manager / Light Board Operator) is a sophomore at BHS. He has previously appeared in Game of Tiaras (Soldier 3), A Full Course (Daniel), The Drowsy Chaperone (Light Board Operator), and Things Fall...Meanwhile (Narrator 2) at BHS. He is also involved in Junior Varsity

Theatre at BHS and is an Honor Thespian in BHS’s International Thespian Troupe 3491. Evan was a national qualifier at the 2017 Texas Thespian Festival for his monologues. Whether it be writing, acting, or reading about it, Evan enjoys taking part in anything that has to do with theatre.

Chastiti Thornal (Costume Crew) is a 9th grader at BHS. She has previously appeared in Peter Pan Jr. (ensemble), Legally Blonde Jr. (ensemble). At North Belton Middle School she also was in class plays such as All I Really Need To Know I Learned from Being In a Bad Play, Romeo and Juliet, and Alienated. She won

friendliest award in her theater class in 2016-2017 and has worked her way up to where she is now. An inspirational quote she chose is “keep your head up; someday there will be happiness again” - Fox and the Hound

Shelby Toliver (Bloody Mary) is a 17 year old senior at BHS. She is a four year theatre veteran, a second year Varsity Theatre member, and Treasurer for Belton’s International Thespian Troupe #3491. She began her theatre career freshman year with Little Shop of Horrors (stage crew) and The Underground Venus

(Mary Morgan), and has loved it ever since! Her sophomore year she appeared in Man Woman Flower (Rhoda), Good Cop Bad Cop (Old woman), Beauty and the Beast (Chorus and Whisk), and Mirrors (Doctor). Junior year, she performed in Potman Spoke Sooth (Beatrice Wiggins), Conversation With a Sphinx (Sphinx), and the UIL One Act Play Twelve Dreams (Jenny); in which she was awarded All Star Cast: Honorable Mention at District competition. Along with theatre, Shelby has played mellophone in the M100 and oboe in the BHS Wind Ensemble for 4 years. Outside of school, she enjoys listening to all genres of music, drawing, and watching Bob’s Burgers with her kitten Doodle. After high school, she plans to attend either TCU or Southwestern University to major in Psychology and minor in Music in the hopes of one day becoming a Music Therapist.

Caitlyn Traynor (Ensemble) is a senior at Belton High School, and is currently a member of the Acapella and Madrigal choirs here at BHS. This is her first musical, and so far she is enjoying it! At BHS, she is involved heavily with choir, which she enjoys very much, and has participated in the All-Region choir

for 2017-2018. She plans to attend either Texas A&M University or University of North Texas to pursue an education in medical sciences. "If plan A doesn't work, don't worry! There are 25 other letters in the alphabet." – Unknown

Ben Brooks (Captain Brackett) is 17, a senior at Belton High School, and has participated in Varsity Theatre and the Marching 100 since his freshman year and has loved every second of it! He has acted in previous shows such as The Drowsy Chaperone (Man in Chair), Twelve Dreams (Professor), The Potman Spoke

Sooth (Miles, the Butler), Beauty and the Beast (Chorus, Baker), I Only Have Ives For You (Jack), Superheroes (Robin), BOB: A Life in 5 Acts (Chorus 2), and Ledge, Ledger, and the Legend (Pete). He has also done lights for the UIL One-Act Plays Tribute and Picasso at the Lapin Agile. He plays the sousaphone & tuba in the Marching 100. Whenever he has nothing better to do, he enjoys watching Stranger Things & That 70’s Show while cuddling with his dog, Henry.

Cade Brown (Sound Assistant) is a sophomore at BHS. He enjoys producing music for many different artist around the school. Macey-Hayes Burns (Ensemble) Ruthie Butler (Stage Manager) is senior at BHS. She has previously worked on Beauty and The Beast (sound assistant), Harvey (sound Board), Drowsy Chaperone (Assistant Stage Manager), and Game Of Tiaras (Sound Board). She is also part of Belton FFA and NHS. She is attending Texas Tech University in the Fall and

plans to major in Animal Science. Ruthie likes playing with her two large dogs and binge watching shows on Netflix.

Kaylee Buuck (Ensemble) is 17, a junior at Belton High School and a member of the Acapella Choir & Varsity tennis team. She most recently appeared in last year’s production of The Drowsy Chaperone (Ensemble), Robinhood, The Musical (Goodfellow) and MULTIPLE choir concerts and competitions. She enjoys

going out with friends and family, making vine references, playing tennis and making music! “The only time I set the bar low is for limbo” - Michael Scott, The Office.

Cristian Carter (Set Crew) is a freshman at New Tech. This is his first show and he’s excited. Cristian is part of the M100 & loves to play his tenor sax. Kaylonni Cazares (Ensemble) is a freshman at Belton High School. She was assistant costume manager in Game Of Tiaras at BHS. She is involved in theater and choir. Kaylonni enjoys singing and crafting at home . This is her first musical production to be involved with and she is very ecstatic for this show.

Kidron Crosby (House Manager) is a senior at Belton High School and an Honor Thespian. She has been part of many BHS shows, including Game of Tiaras (Set Crew), A Comedy of Errors (Crew), Boy Meets Girl (Various), Shadow People (Shadow Mother), Lost Boy (Alexa), and The Drowsy Chaperone (Chorus).

Kidron can be found often-times making sandwiches at Good Life Bakery, but when she has precious free time, she enjoys bear hunting, beet farming, and playing Battlestar Galactica. She also hopes to one day be a master jedi and to compete in professional crossword puzzle contests. "Always the padawan, never the jedi." - Dwight Schrute.

Armani Cruz (Ensemble) Shelby Curry (Ensemble) is 18 and a senior at BHS. She is in Varsity Theatre and the two term president of ITS Troupe 3491. Through the troupe, she has earned the title of International Honor Thespian. Shelby’s previous productions include Look Homeward, Angel (Ms.Clatt), Boy Meets Girl (Katie),

Twelve Dreams (Mrs.Trowbridge), and The Drowsy Chaperone (The Chaperone). Shelby’s plans after graduation include attending Texas State University’s College of Fine Arts and Communications to study Theatre. She also loves to spend her free time juggling chainsaws and fantasizing about running away to join the circus.

Amanda DiVirgilis (Props Master) is a Junior at Belton New Tech. She was spot light operator for Beauty and the Beast and was on set crew for Drowsy Chaperone. Amanda is currently the Vice President of the Student-to-Student organization as well. She also is secretly an eighty year old woman who enjoys

scrapbooking, going to bed at nine, and struggling to keep her succulents alive. Ian Farrell (Lt. Joseph Cable) is a junior at Belton New Tech. He has previously appeared in The Drowsy Chaperone (George), Harvey (Dr. Willam Chumley), Things Fall...Meanwhile (Herman), BOB: A Life In 5 Acts (BOB), Beauty and the Beast (LeFou), and Constellations (Roland) all while at BHS, as well as

designing lights for Game Of Tiaras. He's also appeared in One Man Two Guvnors (Lloyd) and Reckless (Tom) at Tal's Camp. With the International Thespian Society, Ian is a State Thespian Officer as well as a IE National Event Qualifier. In his free time, he enjoys rowboating with his friend, Ethan Taylor.

Kara Fish (Dinah/Dance Captain) is 16 and a sophomore at Belton High School. She is a part of the Madrigal show choir, and Varsity theatre. Kara has taken part in many shows such as The Drowsy Chaperone (Janet), Things Fall…Meanwhile (Schizm's Wife/Angel/Townsperson/ Tourist/Doctor), Harvey (House Crew), A Full Course (Mother), and Sorry Wrong Number (Mrs.

Stevenson) at BHS. She has also performed in Godspell Jr. (Soloist), Aladdin Jr. (Narrator 3), and The Little Mermaid Jr. (Seagull) with Academie Musique at Temple College. In her free time she sightreads choral music, and takes classes at Lisa's Dance Connection. Kate Salters (Ensemble) is a junior at BHS. She has previously appeared in The Drowsy Chaperone (Gangster 2), Comedy of Errors (Adrianna), Shrek the Musical (Peter Pan), and many choir concerts and performances. At school she is involved in the Harmony show choir, the varsity Acappella Choir , and JV

theatre. She enjoys reading, singing, and obsessing *slightly* over the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “I don’t have enough money for chicken nuggets.” ~ Ayitspnayo

Paige Sancomb (House Crew) is 15 and is a sophomore at BHS. She has previously acted in Circus Olympus (Pandora) at South Belton Middle School and participated in The Drowsy Chaperone (set crew). Along with school productions, she can be seen one of Cartoon Network’s anti-bullying commercials. She has

also been dancing for 12 years and is a 2nd year member of the Magic Belles. In her free time (when she has it)she enjoys playing the viola and going sailing. Fun fact: she is 5’7” and hopes to be a Rockette in Radio City Music Hall one day! “Look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now” - Hamilton

Connor Scott (Ensemble) is a sophomore at BHS. This is his first performance at BHS. At North Belton Middle School, his previous performances include Peter Pan Jr. (John), and Paper or Plastic? (Cowboy), which was a part of the middle school One Act Play competition. Outside of school he enjoys playing

video games and getting involved at his church. “Sometimes I’ll start a sentence and I don’t even know where it’s going. I just hope I find it along the way. - Michael Scott

Makin Schilling (Set Crew / Dramaturg) is a senior at Belton High School. She participated as a member of the Prop Crew for the BHS musical last year, The Drowsy Chaperone. She is also involved in the Belton High School Wind Ensemble, and the Temple Wildflower Belles. She plans on going to Baylor

Ahren Shorts (Set Crew) Reba Shows (Props Crew / Follow Spot) is a senior at Belton High School. She has previously been involved with Brief Interviews with Internet Cats (Estelle), Everyman (Claudia), Boys Next Door (Props Crew), Beauty and the Beast (Props Master), and Game of Tiaras (Props Master), all at BHS. Reba is also in the

Belton High School Acapella Choir. She loves to sing, ride horses, and help others in her free time. She plans to attend college to get her bachelor's degree in education and her teacher's certification so she can teach US History. A wise woman once told her, "If you work hard to get where you are it feels good in the spotlight." – Mom

Ethan Taylor ( Lt. Buzz Adams) is 15, a sophomore, and enjoys playing his piano in his free time. He has appeared in previous shows such as Things fall....Meanwhile (Schizm), The Drowsy Chaperone (The Superintendent), Weather On The Tens ( Marvin Patterson),and Game Of Tiaras (Prince Charming). Ethan also

stage managed Constellations. Ethan is a member International Thespian Society, Troupe 3491. Ethan enjoys rowboating by himself in his free time.

Riley Parker (Ensemble) is 17 and a Junior at Belton High School. At Belton High School, Riley has previously appeared in The Drowsy Chaperone (Mrs. Tottendale), Things Fall…Meanwhile (Narrator), Harvey (Mrs. Chumley), The Actress (Actress), and Beauty and the Beast (Ensemble). She is also involved in

student council as the Junior Class Secretary, the International Thespian Society as the Secretary, and National Honor Society. Among many other things, she enjoys playing with her two cute golden retrievers and spending time on the lake with friends and family.

Jamey Pearson (Costume Manager) is 16 and a sophomore at Belton High. She will be inducted into . She has previously done costumes for Drowsy Chaperone and Game of Tiaras. Jamey spends the majority of her free time not being wild about school and petting dogs. After high school, she plans on

spending many years not knowing what to do with the rest of her life and adopting lots more dogs.

Quinn Pierce (Billis) is a senior at Belton High School. He has been in the Madrigal show choir for 2 years and is also in the Acapella Choir. Following graduation, he plans to go to college and study engineering and computer science. Alexee Prado (Costume Crew) is 17, a junior at Belton High School. She is in the varsity winter guard and is on the rifle line as well. Alexee has been in the varsity choir for the past two years. She is also in AVID and slowly preparing herself to get ready for college next year. “If you ever find yourself in the wrong

story, leave” -Mo Willems Ashley Ray (Ensemble) is 16, and a junior at New Tech. She has been involved in theatre since the 6th grade, and is currently a part of Junior Varsity theatre at BHS. She has previously appeared in past BHS shows such as Beauty and the Beast (Napkin/Villager), and The Drowsy Chaperone (Ensemble). She has also

appeared in several shows at LBMS, such as Wiley and the Hairy Man (Shadow), Bad Wolf (Snow White), The 11th (Ms. Sharp), Snappy’s Happy Half Hour (Tracy), and That’s Not How I Remember It (Lola), for which she was named All-Star Cast at the UIL One Act Play Competition. She is also a member of the Marching 100, plays the clarinet, and is currently learning the bassoon (to be adventurous, of course). Ashley has also participated in the All-Region Band every year since the 7th grade, as well as the Central Texas Honor Band last year. Addie Rice (Set Crew) is 16, a sophomore at Belton High School. She has previously been a part of Alice @ Wonderland (Ensemble), Circus Olympus (Grey Sister), The Audition (Crew), Betweenity (Stage Manager) for which she won an award for OAP Stage Manager, and Haphazardly Ever After (Glitterbell) from

South Belton Middle School. Other productions include The Drowsy Chaperone (set crew) and Game of Tiaras (set crew) from Belton High School. Following high school, she plans to study to become a pediatric nurse. In her free time she enjoys painting, volunteering at her church, and participating in 4-H. Anikka Furnace (Props Crew), age 17, is a senior at Belton New Tech. Her junior year, not yet knowing what she wanted to do in the futhre, she stumbled across theatre tech, and fell in love immediately. She has previously worked props in Game of Tiaras at the Belton High School PAC. At Belton New Tech,

she is also a member of the National Honor Society, and maintains a 4.0 GPA. After high school, she hopes to attend UT Austin studying technical theatre and education. Attending this university will allow her to stay close to her beloved family as well as live in her most favorite city, Austin, TX, all while living her dream! Though she is new at the life of a crew member, she can't wait to continue pursuing her craft.

Thomas Gallaway (Sound Board Operator) is a freshman at BHS. He has previously been involved with Peter Pan Jr. (Sound), and Legally Blonde Jr. (Tech Assistant) at North Belton Middle School. take one bite at a time.” - Creighton Adams Canaan Hammonds (Jerome) is a 10 year old, 4th grader at Sparta Elementary. He is in Sparta’s auditioned “Tiger Choir” this year for the second year. Canaan has been in several church, school, and community musicals. In addition to singing and acting, he also enjoys drawing, reading, and playing

video games, laser tag, and Nerf Wars with his brother and sister. He was born with a song in his heart and No matter what he’s doing, the song plays!

Abby Hazlewood (Tech Assistant/Deck Captain) Emily Hawkins (Ensemble) is a junior at Belton High School. She has previously appeared in Shrek Jr. the Musical (Chorus) at North Belton Middle School. At Belton High School, Emily has been a member of TMEA’s 2015-2016 (9-10) All Region Choir. She also plays viola in the Chamber Orchestra.

She has also participated in art competitions and has had art in exhibitions. And in the great words of John Legend, “We’re just ordinary people.” :D

Scott Hinckley (Stewpot) is a 10th grader at Belton new tech. Scott loves making jokes, referencing movies, and hanging out with his friends. He loves to watch movies, listen to 80’s music and to dance. He has been in theatre since 6th grade, has been in various other musicals and plays in middle school, and

Donatella Hoti (Ensemble) is a fifteen year old sophomore at Belton New Tech. She is in Varsity theatre and is a member of the International Thespian Society. She enjoys reading, writing, and doing puzzles, as well as spending time with her best friend, Meg. She participated in the ensemble of The Drowsy

Chaperone the previous year, as well as acting in Harvey (Myrtle Mae). This year she acted in Game of Tiaras (Snow White) and looks forward to the many shows to come. “Don’t look at me in that tone of voice.” ~ Dorothy Parker

Tirana Jariyasetthachok (Henriette) is a junior at Belton New Tech High School. She is also an exchange student from Thailand and is enjoying her first year here. Tirana has previously appeared in Game of Tiaras (girl). At Satit Kaset School in Thailand, she has been involved in the basketball team since 7th

grade. Tirana has won a first place, a second place and two third places at her school competitions. She won second place in singing competition in 4th grade. She likes to travel and learn new things, which is why she became an exchange student. Inspirational quote, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.”

Kaitlynn Kempf (Liat) is 15, a sophomore at Belton New Tech, and actively participates in Varsity Theatre and Varsity Girls Choir here at Belton High School. She is also an active member in the International Thespian Society, Troupe #3491. Some of her previous plays performed at Belton High School

include Constellations (Marianne) Game of Tiaras (Ellie/Snow Queen), Weather on the Tens (Megan Bradshaw), Spartan Maid (Penelopiad), and Harvey (Mrs. Ethel Chauvenet). Other productions from Lake Belton Middle School include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Titania) and Murder at the Pie Auction (Julia Lyle). Besides acting, Kaity participates has done costume crew for a number of productions, such as The Drowsy Chaperone and Things Fall….Meanwhile. “Oui Oui Eiffel Tower Baguette Crepé Beret Buffet” Direct Translation: “A diamond with a flaw is worth more than a pebble without imperfections.”

Kaitlynn Kidd (Costume Crew) Jarryd Lara (Costume Crew) is in his first production with the Belton Theatre Department. Although this is his first experience in costuming, he designed the “Follies” costumes used in the song “Honeybun.” He is 17 and a Junior at Belton High. During this experience he feels he has learned a lot and hopes to

continue his costume/fashion interest after high school. He hopes to be accepted at Pratt Institution in Brooklyn NY. At Belton HS, he is also involved in Student Council, ASTRA, Prom Committee, Cross Country and Track. He promises his life isn't boring and he has a social life.

Maddie LeBlanc (Dramaturg) is 16 and a junior at Belton High School. She has participated in Varsity Theatre and the Belton Drumline since her freshman year, and has enjoyed being in several shows such as Twelve Dreams (various crew positions), The Potman Spoke Sooth (Girl Backstage), Tribute (Gladys Pettreli),

English Made Simple (the Narrator), and Comedy of Errors (Angelo/Luciana). She plays the Marimba in the Marching 100 and enjoys spending her free time doing all of her homework and not having a social life. She also enjoys eating at Jack in The Box and going on wild adventures with her best friend Abby Olsen.

Ethan Matous (Cmdr. William Harbison) is a freshman at Belton High School. He has appeared in Peter Pan Jr. (Pirate), and Legally Blonde Jr. (Emmett). He is also involved in choir, and was a part of the eighth grade region choir, as well as the 2017 TCDA honor choir. Karis McMurry (Nellie Forbush) is a junior and a first year student at Belton High School. She first discovered her love for theatre at the age of five and has been performing non-stop ever since. A few of her most recent credits include Game of Tiaras (Cinderella), Singin’ in the Rain, Jr. (Lina Lamont), and Peter Pan the

Musical (Wendy). She is so very honored and thrilled to be playing Nellie and has absolutely fallen in love with Nellie’s tenacious enthusiasm. Karis plans to pursue a career in musical theatre with the hope of bringing joy to many, many more audiences.

Olivia McRae (Ngana) Mateo Montelongo (Yeoman Quale) is a Freshman at BHS. He has previously appeared in Game of Tiaras (Soldier 1) which was his first show at BHS. At SBMS, he was seen in The Rehearsal (Guy), for which he won runner-up for best actor in the middle school OAP festival. He is also involved in sports, going to

The previous plays that she was part of and can barely remember are Peter Pan Jr., The Musical (Lost Boy ), Dystopia (white ) Alienated (Roseland), Legally Blond the Musical (Whitney), Game of Tiaras (Jasmine ), and a few others she can’t remember. during the production. She plans to attend Michigan State University to major in Criminal Justice and with an emphasis in Forensic Science and Criminology
