We feel for the many people who have been affected personally by the bushfires and we hope that all of our families have returned to Belrose safely. We extend a warm wel-come to our new families in Year 1 and Year 4. We know your chil-dren’s educational journey will be a very enjoyable and rewarding one.

We extend a warm welcome to our Kindergarten students and their families who will be commencing on Monday. We expect all students to always do their best, wear the correct uni-form properly, be respectful and responsible and demonstrate excellent manners at all times. Thank you to the parents who helped water our gardens during the holidays.

PLANNING DAYS

In the weeks leading up to school commencing, the teachers prepared units of work for their new classes. We wish now to final-ise the units of work across each key learning area to ensure differentiation. Teachers have forgone their Release-from–face-to-face time for these planning days to reduce the cost to the school. During these days, Mrs Adamo, Mrs Jones and known casual teachers to the school will be teaching the classes but all staff will remain at school. These days are:

Today—Years 5 and 6

Tuesday—Kindergarten to Year 2

Wednesday—Years 3 and 4

We are looking forward to another great year at Belrose PS.
