James’ NoteGreetings all!Now that the holiday season is
behind us we can all breathe a bitmore deeply, rest a little bit, andrelax a tad...Wait! What? Moreholidays in February?
That’s right gang. Buckle up,because the month of February isgoing to be jam packed withholidays, celebrations and greatfun times at Belmont Village.
Right off the bat we have a‘semi-holiday’ mention withGroundhog Day. I always like tomention this day because it’s myanniversary of falling out of thecar when I was a young boy.Thankfully, that event was only aone-time event and doesn’t repeatitself like the poor groundhogseeing or not seeing his shadow. What will it be this year?
The next monthly eventhappening is Super Bowl 50,February 7th. This is almost like anational holiday for people; besure to check out the party we arehosting in the Bistro that day.
The following holiday is a weeklater - Valentine’s Day, February14th. We will certainly be hostinga wonderful and beautiful eventfor all you lovers out there.
Chinese New Year was a big hitlast year with the fine cuisine weprepared in Josephine’s Kitchen. This year, starting February 8th is
the Year of the Monkey; we willcelebrate on February 20th.
And last but not least, theholiday for “Movie Stars,”Directors, Producers and the like. The Academy Awards will behosted on February 28th and wealways have a great time atBelmont Village.
‘Tis the season to celebrateshadows being seen, enjoying asport everyone loves, looking forlove mid-way through the month, turning the year over to theMonkey, capping it off with aCelebrated Celebrity Show andthen having an extra leap-year dayin February.
‘Tis the season to alwayscelebrate, every month -- even theshorter ones. I’ll see you all outthere... ~ James
