Dear Members of the Board,
The purpose of the application before you is to update the existing approval for Parent Sand and Gravel pit
site. An approval was granted by the board for reclamation of the pit and for a new access road and scale
house off of Wareing Road. As part of satisfying the conditions of approval of the action we had to obtain
an AOT permit for the site. We now need to update the municipal approval to match the Alteration of
Terrain plan. We are also introducing an accessory building to the gravel operation on the current site plan.
We are also asking for an approval of the business directory sign that was discussed with the Board during
the prior application.
If you have any questions regarding this application, please do not hesitate to contact me and we can discuss
them in detail at the planning board meeting.

RE: Business Directory Sign – Parent Sand and Gravel – Wareing Road

Dear Members of the Board,
As part of the application to create a new pit road for the Parent Sand and Gravel operation onto Wareing
Road we would like the board to also consider a request for a business directory sign at the intersection of
Route 106 and Wareing Road. There will be very little public exposure to the Parent Sand and Gravel
operation at the main entrance point on Wareing Road. A business directory sign at the intersection
directory sign at the intersection of Route 106 and Wareing Road would give direction for drivers and public
to know where to go to get to the pit.
