behavior just before speaking
TRANSCRIPT
INTRODUCTION When waiting for your turn to speak, it is
important that you know how your movements affect the impressions of your audience towards you- your sincerity, friendliness and your energy.
They can read these things from facial expressions, the way you stand and walk and from the things you do with your arms and hands. Very often a slight shrug of the shoulder or an expressive look is more revealing than a hundred words could be.
POSTURE Good posture should not be observed only
when somebody is looking at you. Sitting tall and standing tall must be a day-
to day habit.
POSTURE
FEET Your feet should not be too close or too far
apart. Remember when feet are to close together your
whole body tends towards stiffness; and When are too apart, you look awkward on stage.
FEET
BODY Remember to stand tall but relaxed Your chest is up but not thrust out Your shoulder blades must be leveled; and
avoid military at- attention position.Body
ARMS AND HANDS Avoid putting your hands inside the pocket. They must always be free and ready to act.
