Prof. K.V. RaghavaiahHe is an alumnus of the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Manila. He has undergone management programs at world class universities like University of Michigan, USA. Raghavaiah has over 35 years of experience in different facets of HR across industries and in different contexts. As the GM – Corporate HR for ITC Group, he played an anchor role under the guidance of the Corporate Managing Committee, in formulating and actualizing the HR Strategy to cater to the emerging business context.

Prof. D. R. NagarajHe has worked in various capacities in the human resource division of MICO Bosch. He is a well known HR specialist and a trainer. He has conducted Management Development Programs in many countries including Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, UAE, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain. He has published over 50 articles in professional journals and magazines on HR Themes. He has authored/co-authored/co-edited three books, viz. HR Dimensions of Technology, HRM 2000 and HRM in Indian Context.

Nagaraj was formerly the national president of National Institute of Personnel Management, president of NHRD (Bangalore Chapter) and Chairman of NIPM (Karnataka Chapter). He is the Vice-President of KEA since 1996. He has doctoral degree in management studies by Reva University for his thesis entitled 'Design of a Sustainable Quality Management Model for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Based on Bhagavad Gita'.He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management with a Specialization in Systems and Marketing from TAPMI, Manipal. He is a result oriented entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in handling a private limited company as its founder-director. He has been a mentor, trainer and facilitator for Post Graduate Students, Faculty and Corporate Houses. His other interests include delivering spirituality lectures and contributing to various articles based on Management and Spirituality in journals & magazines.

Prof. Kumar AneeshHe has been a yoga trainer for more than 20 years. He is an eloquent speaker, motivational trainer and a consultant. His expertise is in the area of personality development. Kumar Aneesh is also a practicing advocate.

Dr. Pratima NarayanShe holds a Doctoral and Master's degrees in Business Laws from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. She has done her LLB from Bangalore University and her Certification Programme in General Principles of Intellectual Property Rights from World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). She has over 12 years of professional as well as teaching experience. She teaches courses related to Business Law at VBS.

Prof. B. K. KumarAn alumni of IIMA, Kumar has 2 decades of experience at the CEO/GM level. His total experience of over 36 years encompasses All India and UAE & OMAN (over 14

years with Jumbo Electronics, Dubai) and he has substantial experience of handling brands such as Sony, Ricoh, Electrolux, etc. He teaches in the areas of Strategic Management & Marketing.

Prof. VijayalakshmiShe has over a decade of teaching experience in the area of Management Information System. She holds MPhil, MCA, PGDCA degrees.

Prof. Rishiraj DasguptaHe has joined teaching after over a decade of experience in banking and consulting. He specializes in Finance for non-finance, pre-sales and sales for KPO/BPO, soft skill domain including team building, motivation, communication, customer delight, etc. He has previously worked as Corporate Manager at ICICI Bank Ltd., and as a senior consultant at KPMG Advisory Services Pvt. Prof. Avinash RaoProf. Avinash Rao has worked in the field of Operations, Strategy & Human Resources for the past 10 years of which 8 years have been with corporate houses in varied positions and 2 years as an independent consultant. He completed his first Master's from India

ADVENTURE LEARNINGExperiential learning is the process of learning from experience. It is learning through reflection on doing. Experiential learning is related to other forms of experience-based learning such as experiential education, action learning, adventure learning and cooperative learning. Though, some of these forms of learning have relation with each other, they also have differences among them. In business schools, internship and job shadowing opportunities are some examples of experiential learning.In adventure learning, students are encouraged to participate in activities with perceived risks. This learning does not necessarily need to take place outdoors. At VBS, the focus is to encourage students to participate in trust building activities, problem solving activities and adventure activities such as rappelling, dry river crossing, rock climbing, water rafting, etc. VBS focuses on different types of learning activities to

broaden students knowledge base by encouraging them to take part in adventure education, shad-owing opportunities, problem-based learning, etc.

They are aimed to giving you an opportunity to understand the working environment, processes and business practices of an organization.Using its extensive network with industries and business houses, VBS aims to organize visits on a regular basis to reputed multina-tional and Indian companies.

The visits would be guided visits with VBS faculty members accompanying the students in order to help them through onsite explanation. You are also encouraged to ask questions during these visits.

SURABHI-THE CULTURAL CLUBThe Cultural Club of VBS aims to rekindle cultural pride in you and provide you the knowledge of Indian and world cultural heritage. Students from differ-ent cultural and geographical back-grounds study at VBS. They assimilate into a cohesive whole on the campus and thus foster cross-cultural boding. VBS regularly conducts various cultural and literary competitions and also

encourages its students to represent the school at inter-collegiate, inter-university and inter-state level cultural competi-tions. The club celebrates all cultural festivals and organizes various cultural activities as per the academic calendar to inculcate in its members a sense of belongingness, team work, coordination & amiability.

VBS is one of the few management institutions which is committed to offer you a big platform to engage in co-curricular activities. The objective is to expand your learning potential, groom your talent and foster your all round development. With this view in mind, VBS has formed various clubs.

EKLAVYA - THESPORTS CLUBFOR A FIT BODY ANDAN AGILE MINDVBS offers facilities for indoor and outdoor sports such as chess, carom, cricket, football, basketball, etc. and regularly organizes sports tournaments to build a competitive spirit in you.

EKALAVYA is the sports club of VBS. The club's vision is to inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship in you.

Every year, EKALAVYA organizes an annual sports day meet with events such as cricket, volleyball, track events, throw ball & badminton for girls, etc. The prize distribu-tion ceremony is held on VBS annual Day in the presence of its international institutional partners.

The concept of social media club today is quite different from what it was a few years ago. Socialmedia today is not just about updating status or posting pictures from a party held on the previous night. Instead it is changing the way we search for jobs, communicate, learn, share and do business.

There is an imperative need today to include the social media in the framework of higher education because it

is literally changing the world. The Social Media Club at VBS was formed to facilitate interaction among mem-bers to explore key issues facing the society as technol-ogies transform the way people connect, communicate, collaborate and relate to each other. The club enables you to explore your personal and professional passions by helping you to connect with a community of peers based on both geography and areas of interest.

VBS believes in India's entrepreneurial and startup potential and extends its support to you for your entrepreneurial ventures. The School's Entrepreneurship Cell “DISHA” aims to help in the development of India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by enabling easy and efficient interaction among its major components spanning students, working professionals, aspiring and existing entrepreneurs, mentors, angel investors, venture capital firms and corporates through initiatives such as interactive sessions, conferences, etc. The cell nurtures and nourishes entrepreneur-ship ideas in you. The faculty members help you in identifying market opportuni-ties, screening ideas and developing viable business models. They also bring you in contact with venture capitalists and help you in seeking venture capital funding.

The club was started by a few ardent movie enthusiasts with the aim of exposing students to insightful movies. The club screens a movie every weekend. The Movie Club of VBS has occupied a special place in every student's heart. Its popularity can be testified by the fact that it has more members than any other club. The club prints the ticket for every movie premiere and generates revenue. It also sells some snacks and soft drinks. Thanks to the Movie Club, the VBS students are becoming adept with the technicalities of cinema too. The Club is an attempt to make learning process 'student centric'.

The primary objective of the club is to foster literary activities such as poetry, writing and reading among the students of the school. Literature helps us understand the world better and improve our communication skills. Literature is refined communication. This communication is done through characters created by the writers or by the writers themselves. It provides us a treasure trove of insights into others' feelings, thinking and emotions. Every year, the club plans and conducts several events and programmes such as book and poetry reading, arranging interaction with authors, story writing, poetry competitions, etc. The literary achievements of a few of VBS students are positive reflections on the profile of its students.

Documents needed at the time of admissionAll the applicants are advised to bring the following documents at the time of admission.

• 10th Standard Certificate

• 12th Standard Certificate

• Degree mark sheets for all years/semesters/trimesters

• Degree Certificate (Provisional/Original), if available

• Copy of the test score

Program Fee• Admission Fee: Rs. 30,000

• Tuition Fee: Rs. 1,00,000 per semester (all inclusive except examination fee)

Hostel Fee• Accommodation Fee: Rs. 50,000/- per year

• Food Charges: Food service is managed by students and works on dividing system. Charges payable on monthly basis. Approximate monthly bill would be Rs.3,000/-.
