(1) On a new layer, make acircular selection over your objec t, then Feather

(Select>Modi y>Feather).

(2) Inverse the selection(Select>Inverse).

(3) Set the Foreground colorto black, then fll (Edit>Fill).Deselect.

(4) Set the fll layer to Mul-tiply mode, then reduce itsopacity to about 75% (right).

(2) In Photoshop, place the tracingon top o the photo layer. Make surethey both line up.

(3) With the tracing layer selected, click the Add layer mask icon (above). Set the Foreground color to black. Select a so tbrush, and start masking away to reveal the photo.
