This year’s “Bee Tour” will focus on practical ID in the field, using cameras or phones to capture images, and citizen science for everyone. We’ll practice hands-on bee identification through microscopes and exploration in the field with Olivia and a team of biology experts. All sessions are 9AM to 4PM. Cost: Handouts, lunch and refreshments included. $65 per person, or $80 including Olivia’s book. Please register. Olivia will discuss the natural history of bees, emphasizing the ones most commonly seen in Ohio and how to recognize them. She will also provide tips on encouraging these important pollinators in your backyard. RSVP by June 4 th .
