FOOD / DRINK POLICY – we still have a no food policy so could you refrain from bringing in cakes and sweets to celebrate your child’s birthday or last day as we have several children who have allergies and cannot have them. Please do not allow your child to bring toys into nursery unless they are for the Letterland table or relevant to our current theme. There is a risk that they will become lost or broken so it is better for them to stay at home!! SPORTS DAY – was a massive turnout both with the children and also their supporters i.e. mums, dads and relatives. It was packed with excitement and fun! Both the children in the morning and afternoon sports days all participated. Well done to all the mum’s and dads that took part it was definitely a brilliant turn out!

TEDDY BEARS PICNIC 16th August children who don’t attend on this day are welcome to arrive

at 12.45pm.

It is a parent free event!! So please drop your child off in their class at 12.45 and collect them at 4pm! The children that are due in on this day will come in as normal and they will help us to prepare the lunch for the afternoon! It will be a fun and thriving event jam packed with activities for the children to get involved in!!

SUNCREAM AND HATS – can you ensure that your child has a hat to keep in their

drawer because we have had some really hot spells and we do not have much shade in the field. Can these hats please be a legionnaire type (which covers their necks). Also if your child has sensitive skin; please ensure you are supplying your

own suncream!

SAFETY – when dropping your child off and collecting them please ensure that you are closing the main gate, and both gates in the field!

WHEN USING THE CARPARK – please be cautious and remember that it is a 5mph speed limit. On occasions people have shot in and out too fast! Also please be aware that parents and children will be walking to their cars especially at 9am and 3pm onwards! Could we suggest that all cars reverse into car parking bays for the safety of the children and drivers.

Once you have collected your child; please do not let them play on the statue or on the stones at the front of our school.

WELCOMING – we would like to take this opportunity to welcome all the new children and hope that they are settling in quickly and enjoying all the fun and thriving activities set at Beechoak Farm!

FINALLY - we would like to wish all the children that are leaving over the summer holidays very best wishes for starting in their new school! We will miss you but know you are ready for new challenges and BIG school!

Beechoak Farm would love to know how the children are

progressing at their new school so please stay in touch and pop back to see us!
