Once again this year our school is participating in Jump Rope for Heart– a fantastic physical activity and fundraising program by the Heart Foundation.

Jump Rope for Heart is a great way for your child to keep fit and learn new skills but it also helps raise funds for vital heart research and education programs.

What is the Family Support Network? Family Support Networks (FSNs) are a partnership of local services working together to provide support to families and young people. FSNs provide a common entry point to many services in your area. The Midland Perth Family Support Network is led by Centrecare and Wungening

ARE YOU: A family with dependant children A young person aged up to 25 years Involved with multiple agencies or services Living in Midland or Perth regions and/or In need of support to help your family meet their goals? If you have answered YES to any of the above questions and would like to access the service then give us a call. We can help you identify your goals and access the right services to help you meet these goals. We can also coordinate services if more than one support is required.

INTERSCHOOL Thank you to all who helped the canteen be part of Interschool on the oval. Thank you Tamica and Jason for Wednesday preparations, Kaylen for getting tables, Renee and Lindsey for BBQ and burger duty, Georgie, Tamara and Steph for your help with our new Bunnings gazebo, amongst other things. Your support is much appreciated.

NEW MENU Check out the new Winter menu. Dino snacks now served with mashed potato, peas and corn. Fried rice and Lasagne are back and for something new and different….Cous Cous tossed with vegies and Morrocan spice and 2 beef Koftas which are meatballs.

Tuning in to Kids –Emotionally Intelligent Parenting

A FREE six session parenting program for parents of kids aged 3-10 years. Would you like to learn how to: Communicate with your child more effectively? Help your child learn to manage their emotions? Prevent behavioural problems in your child? Teach your child to deal with conflict? Tuning in to Kids shows you how to help your child develop emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence may be a better predictor of academic and career success than IQ! Clan Midland will be running this information session every WEDNESDAY starting 22
