The whole purpose behind the Becoming Your Best New sletter and the w ebsi te (ww w.becomingyourbest.com) is t o provide inspi ring stories to encourage and provide hope to others. Certainly, ther e are tim es in everyone’s life w hen they need encouragement or need a little hope that everything w ill be alright. The definition of encourage is to give coura ge, hope, or confidence to; embolden; hearten; to give support to; and to foster help. In life, w hen we encourage some- one, we are providing them w ith the courage, hope, or confidence t hey need to be able to overcome their current situation. In many circumstances, it is providing them w ith the help or support they need to have the courage to take the next st ep. A lack of courage c an be due to FEAR. This is often possible due to a basic lack of knowledge and understanding—FEAR of the unknow n. Zig Ziglar, author and public speaker, defines FEAR as a False Evidence Appear ing Real. If it is false, then it cannot be real. Knowledge and understanding can often help someone to overcome their FEAR and see it is nothing but False Evidence Appearing Real. Often times, when people read or hear an inspirational story it can help them t o see possibilities and give them hope in their situation. It can give them the confi- dence and the courage to begin to c hange their current situation and not be afraid. Both of our stories this month are w onderful examples of young ladies who have been encouraged by others. They have uniquely different stories but you can see the benefits of encourag ement, support, and understan ding in their lives. They have exhibited the courage to move beyond their limitations and touch t he lives of  others. We trust you will be inspired and uplifted by the st ories of these tw o lovely ladies. They have already been an inspiration to many. It is our expectat ion their stories will provide hope and encouragement to others in similar situations. As always, we thank you for your continued support of our efforts to reach others.  ________________ _ Send your inspiring stories to: stories@ becom ingyourbest .com.
