Torchlight Tuition is always looking for enthusiastic qualified tutors for all subjects and levels.

We are looking for applicants who are:

Enthusiastic: committed to helping students flourish and passionate about inspiring the next generation to make the most of their potential.

Committed: able to embrace the flexibility of deciding your own hours, whether that be working daytime, evenings or weekends. Whether available for the next 5 months or 5 years, you must be able to guarantee consistency of support for students and their families.

Qualified: though we try not to have hard and fast rules about qualifications, we are looking for tutors with 5+ years of tuition experience, teaching qualifications and a proven track record of helping students through a range of exams and application processes.

Engaged: serious about gaining experience and developing teaching skills. Tutors need to constantly keep up to date with changing curriculums, teaching methods and classroom materials whilst honing their abilities to cater to a wide range of different student needs.

Local: our ethos involves prioritising local knowledge and minimal travel for our tutors. We are looking for tutors who live in or around South West London.

We will invite you to complete an application form and conduct a short pre-interview phone call. Interviews are conducted at our office in Barnes and will include a short teaching demonstration/presentation. Successful applicants will be required to attend our training course and will be engaged pending the relevant document checks.
