Audience AnalysisThree main demographic targets of the site:

O The Social Media User-O between 15 and 24 and makes up roughly 14% of the Trenton

population. They are likely African-American or Latino

O either in or just coming out of High School and are deciding whether to continue education or enter the workforce

O the biggest users of Social Media.

O The Gen X-ers-O between 25 and 44

O roughly 30% of the Trenton population.

O likely African-American or Latino

O They are or are considering raising a family, and are unsure if Trenton has the stability or potential to support them

O The Already Established-O between 65 and 84 and makes up roughly 10% of the Trenton

population

O likely lived in Trenton for a long time and probably have family in the area.

Special Consideration & Features

O The homepage will have a Twitter feed from aggregated new outlets about Trenton, as well as candidate’s Twitters if they are made. Under this feed is a “like” button for the Beautiful Trenton Facebook page.

O The integration of various news outlets will allow for real time information in a medium which attracts the Social Media users.

O Older users, such as the Gen X-ers or the Already Established will be able to click on links to news stories so often included in Tweets.

O The site will be mobile friendly, and you will be able to get to every page thru the row of links at the top.

O Wordpress will be sufficient to run the site. However, additional personnel may be needed to safely conduct man-on-the-street interviews.

O Development Timeline:

O Some bios are unfinished as not all the candidates have fully begun to roll out their platform for the press.

O Sustainability:

O The site won’t take much to maintain, just adding interviews as they come and filling out bios as that information is made available. There will also need to be someone to look for any new social media handles the candidates open.
