Being new to Tucson, what’s your favorite thing about the city?This one is easy. It is the passion that the people have for the Arizona Wildcats.

What is one fact most people don’t know about you?I can’t dunk a basketball.

Why Arizona?This was my dream job. When I first started coaching, I viewed Arizona as one of the premier programs in the country. Arizona Baseball is a special program to me and I am honored for the opportunity to build the program back up.

What is your favorite movie?Remember the Titans

What did you want to be when you were growing up?As a young football player, I wanted to win the Heisman Trophy. Actually, I am one of those people that is fortunate to be doing exactly what I have always wanted to do.

How would you describe your coaching style?I work to be a coach who is good at figuring out how players learn, how they are motivated, and how I can help them respond to whatever situation is put in front of us. I never really think about “my coaching style,” I think a lot about doing what we need to do to tackle the task directly in front of us.

What do you find fulfilling about coaching?The opportunity to help our players achieve their dreams and goals on and off the field.

Anything else you’d like to tell Arizona fans?There is nowhere else on the planet that I would rather be than at the University of Arizona.
