This tequila producer is so good, it deserves another week featured as the Spirit of the Week. Like the reposado, the Casamigos blanco is a small batch, ultra-premium tequila made from the finest, hand-selected 100% Weber’s Blue agaves, grown in the rich clay and cool climate of the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. However, unlike the reposado, this spirit spends very little time in oak and the retention of the flavor of the agave is pure and highly aromatic. While many blancos are meant to be blended, this spirit is actually ideal for those who want to be able to enjoy the flowery and peppery aromatics of a very elegant tequila in a tumbler as a stand alone sipper.
