BE SAFE ON
THE INTERNET!
BY THE 6NS
DIGITAL LEADERS
What would it be like if
the internet was turned
off?
What would the internet be
like if we were all the
same?
JESSICA’S WISH
We are about to tell you a story
about a young girl named
Jessica who discovers that the
internet would be very boring if
we were all the same.
stands for safe.
stands for meet.
stands for accepting.
stands for reliable.
stands for tell.
Don’t forget to be
SMART online
It is important to keep safe on the
internet because there are lots of
people who aren’t who they say
they are. To keep safe, keep your
password and other personal
information to yourself.
Be careful when chatting to
other people online that you
don’t know or just met. If they
ask to meet up, tell your parents
and never go by yourself.
Always be careful when
accepting friend requests or
requests to meet up. Some
people are completely different
from who they make up to be
online.
Not everybody online is reliable. You can’t
trust anybody online that you don’t know
with any of your personal information like
your:
Address
School
Password
Email or phone number.
If something happens online
that upsets or worries you,
always tell an adult straight
away that you can trust and
they’ll sort it out for you as soon
as possible.
Its your time to shine. The digital leaders
are organising a competition. Design a
poster for e-safety for your chance to win.
The winning 2 posters (girl and boy) will get
their posters showcased in the library.
During the half term, you will need to work
on your posters and give them to Mrs
Goodwin by Monday 22nd of February
and the winners will be announced that
week in singing assembly.
Here is an example. Make sure lots of
colour and fun is also added.
SO WHY IS IT
IMPORTANT TO STAY
SAFE ON THE INTERNET?
Thank you for listening to the 6NS

Stay safe!!!!!
