Happy Catholic Schools Week and 100th Day of School!

It has been a fun week so far. The college bowl was a big hit! Grades four, five, and seven were theofficial winners, but fun was had by all. As a special surprise this year, the teachers from each gradecompeted against each other. It was great fun to see the students so excited for their teachers.Science fair is today for our seventh and eighth graders. They have put in a great deal of work andlearned so much about the scientific process. It is our hope that this helps spark their thirst for Sciencein their future. Thank you to the many judges who took time off from work today to interview ourstudents during the science fair. Awards will be announced tomorrow evening before Open House.Students, dressed in full uniform, are expected to be at the science fair at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow. This iswhen students show off their hard work to our community. It is a mandatory event for students, soplease come check out all the great experiments.

Open house will run from 6 –7 p.m. All our classrooms will be open, and student work will bedisplayed. This is a family friendly evening. Students look forward to showing parents and siblingsaround their classrooms. Everyone is welcome to attend. This is a great opportunity for potential newfamilies to see our school and community in action.

We are excited to be offering dinner before the event tomorrow evening. There will be food trucksavailable for you offering Mexican food and sliders. Please make sure to bring cash, as not all vendorswill have credit card accessibility. The food trucks will be open from 5–7 p.m., so bring the family andtake a night off from cooking!

Our On-line Auction is underway and some events are sold out already. Make sure to log in to http://stisidore.maestroweb.com/ . Do not miss out on all the fun offerings, such as teacher treats, parties, spadays, photography shoots, wine, and much, much more. This is an easy way to have some fun whilesupporting our school.

Class auction projects will be on display in the main hallway starting tomorrow evening until theauction. Our students put so much hard work into them and are proud of their creations. Thank you tothe parent volunteers who helped prepare these projects. They look great, so please make sure totake a look at this creative display!

The 3rd and 4th grade Saint Isidore Brownie & Girl Scout Troopswill be selling theirfamous Girl Scout Cookies this Sunday after the 9 and 10:30 Masses. Please help uscelebrate a century of selling cookies!

SIS will be celebrating RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS week starting Monday, February13 - Friday, February 17th. During that week we will be having a "ONE WARM COATDRIVE". Please take a moment to gather any gently used coats you are willing todonate. We will be collecting the coats in the school office until Friday. Donatedcoats will be distributed locally to those in need.

A fun and interactiveevening is planned for our students and their families!First plan to be thereearly at 5pm. Enjoy dinner from the ‘Slider”and “Taco” food trucks that will be parked inthe courtyard. Only cash is beingaccepted for food purchases so please come prepared.At 5:30pm head tothe Science Fair in the Benson Gym. Finally, the Classroomsopen at 6pm for you to chat with our Teachers, see all the greatworkyour children are doing and have a first peek at the Auction Artwork that each grade hascompleted for sale.
