Freelance Copywriter BCF is looking for an experienced Freelance Copywriter to assist our team with ongoing client projects. To start, this would be a position with somewhat variable workflow that we would look to streamline over time. We would prefer this individual be able to work in our Virginia Beach located office (during normal business hours) as they begin training and learning our systems and processes. There is the possibility for remote work to take place after this initial period.

You’re a great candidate if you:

• Interact with Art Directors to develop original, unique concepts and executions for assigned brands

• Possess solid understanding of the market dynamics of assigned brands • Are skilled in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy • Work closely with Project Managers/Producers to schedule and monitor all

projects • Provide accurate time and cost estimates for each tactic • Report to CD for approval of concepts • Understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Work well in a team and with a range of creative people • Are able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively • Are highly self-motivated and well organized • Are able to see other people's points of view and take feedback • Work within strict budgets
