Addendum No. 1
TO: PROPOSED BIDDERS
PROJECT: ERBR-30(02) PARKERS LAKE BRIDGE, JACKSON COUNTY
DATE: NOVEMBER. 13, 2020
1. Contract time is being correctly noted as 300 Calendar days. (In lieu of 300 working
days). Some contract documents were inadvertently released with the cover referencing a
working day period. All references to contract time requirements shall be changed
accordingly.
2. Revisions made for quantities and pay items for erosion control work. Corrections made
in corresponding sheet tables and project summary tables for Rip-rap, Topsoil, Seeding,
Oil Absorbent Boom, and removed Turbidity Barrier items. Revisions noted on the
following sheets:
• Sheet 2A
• Sheet 2F
• Sheet 2G
3. Revised bid proposal sheets are being issued for the quantity and pay item changes.
Please replace the following sheets in the contract documents. (Use attached proposal
sheets marked ‘revised per addendum’.
4. Add Specification section 907-234-G, for Oil Absorbent Boom.
5. For purposes of construction under this contract, it is recognized that construction
materials may need to be brought in from either direction of the project. Being the
existing bridge crossing for the Pascagoula River (Roy Cumbest Bridge, Structure #SA
30-043) is currently posted, contractors may request and receive approval for use of this
structure and the westerly section of Wade Vancleave Road, as a designated haul route
for delivery of materials under this project. Loads may not exceed the maximum weight
of 80,000 lbs. Use of this route may be subject to change, pending construction of work
for bridge #SA 30-043 (being issued under a separate contract) and/or other condition
factors for the bridge itself.
