RULESANDREGULATIONS

1. GENERALRULES1.1 ThecompetitionshallbeheldinaccordancewiththecurrentrulesoftheInternational

AmateurBasketballFederation(FIBA)1.2 Otherunforeseenoccurrence,whichisnotcoveredbyFIBArules,shallbedealtwithin

accordancewiththedecisionoftheorganizers.2. TEAMCOMPOSITION

2.1 EachTeammaycomposeof14playersbutonly12playersareallowedtoplayduringamatch.

Lineupmaybechangeandfinalizeuntilthe2ndgameforeachteamonly.

3. UNIFORMS3.1 Teamsmusthaveuniformsduringmatches.

3.1.1 JerseyorTshirtswithnumbersandsamecolor.3.1.2 Onlybasketballshortsareallowed.(Nomaongshorts,puruntong,Beachshortsand

sixpockets)3.1.2.1 ShortsmaydifferindesignbutjerseysandTshirtsmustbeUniform.

4. TOURNAMENTFORMAT

4.1 *If57teamsparticipated,asingleroundrobinsystemwillbeappliedwhereinthetop4teamswilladvancetothesemifinalround.

SEMINIFINALS:#1vs.#4(#1twicetobeat)#2vs.#3(#2twicetobeat)FINALS:winnerswillvieforthechampionship.Loserswillfightfor3rdplace.

*If8teamsormore,two(2)bracketswillbeformed(bracketA&bracketB).

*Asingleroundrobinsystemwillbeappliedforeachbracket.*Top2teamsforeachbracketwilladvancetosemifinals.(backtozero)

5.BREAKINGOFTIES

5.1Iftwo(2)ormoreteamhaveequalnumberofwins,theteamwithahigherquotientRankshigher.

QuotientSysteminvolvesallthegamesplayedbetweenthetiedteamsonly.5.1.1 Teamsthatdefaultedtheirgamesmaynotbeincludedinthequotient

system.

6. DEFAULT20minutesdefaultingtimewillbeallottedforeachteam.Failuretoappearon

theplayingareaafterthedurationwillbedeclareddefaultandforfeitstheirmatchwithresultof020.

7. NOSMOKINGONTHEBENCH

ViolationoftherulewillbedealtwithaTEAMTECHNICALwith2freepenaltyshots.

8. NOPLAYINGUNDERTHEINFLUENCEOFLIQUORViolationoftherolewillbedealtwithEJECTION(Thrownout)and4penaltyshots.

9. REGISTRATION

AregistrationofPhp2,000.00mustbepaidbeforetheTournamentstarts.
