Course Overview

• Present in the synchronous sessions is not required. Because of the time differences may become the obstruction, participants can access the recordings at the time that is convenient. Participants who do not face this obstruction are encouraged to attend the synchronous sessions. Present in the live sessions enables participants to interact immediately with the facilitator and other participants.

Course Overview

• Learning modules, consist of additional resources, assignments, practice tests, and accomplishment test, are available on the course websites.

• Participants who need a certificate are required to accomplish all the modules. Participants should file a request of the certificate to the facilitator after accomplishing the course. The facilitator will verify the accomplishment. Participants will receive a PDF copy of the certificate emailed to them not later than 14 business days. .

POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVES

• Rule 1: Verbs follow the subject pronouns.– I am, You are, We love

• Rule 2: Possessive adjective comes before a noun or an adjective + noun.– My sister’s car, her suitcase, his lawyer

• Rule 3: Possessive adjectives are used with singular and plural nouns.– His friends or his friend, my boys or my boy

• Rule 4: For an animal or a thing, the possessive adjective “its” is used, but for a pet, “his” or “her” is used. – My fish’s name is Swimmy.
