1Step 1: Turn off your notification sounds

1) Press Home

2) Touch Other Settings

3) Touch the Wrench Folder Tab and scroll to “Notification Sounds”

4) Touch “Off” and exit the menu by touching the X

1) Touch FUNC.

2) Touch MENU

3) Touch the Wrench Folder Tab and scroll to “Notification Sounds”

4) Touch “Off” and exit the menu by touching the X

Change Your Recording Format2

3) Touch the Film Folder Tab and scroll to “Recording Mode”

4) Touch “MXP” and exit the menu by touching the X

MXP is the highest recording mode that you can be on!

Choosing Your Recording Media3

This is if you have a camera with internal memory- HF M500/52

1st icon is Internal MemorySD records to SDHC Card Slot

Relay Record - Allows you to go from your internal memory to your card slot or from your card slot to your internal.

1) Press HOME 2) Touch “Other Settings” 3) Touch the Film Folder Tab and “Rec Media for Movies”

Choosing Your Recording Media4

This is if you have a camera with internal memory- HFG10/20 & Similar

1st icon is Internal MemoryA records to SDHC Card Slot AB records to SDHC Card Slot B

Double Slot Rec- Records to both slots at the same time for instant backup.

Relay Record - Allows you to go from your internal to card slot A or B without loosing video. You can set up Relay to go from one choice to the next.

Initializing (format) Your SDHC Card5

REMEMBER: Only Initialize NEW CARDS or cards/internal memory when you want to erase the ENTIRE memory of the card/ internal memory.

4) Touch either built-in Mem or Mem Card and then touch initialize

2) Touch MENU

3) Touch the Wrench Folder Tab and scroll to “Initialize”

4) Touch either built-in Mem, Mem Card A or Mem Card B and then touch initialize
