Located across the South of England, West Midlands, East Anglia and Wales, Basepoint’s ethos is one of developing business communities that thrive through the provision of support, be it from the centre management team and the business support services they provide, the supportive structure of the collective businesses associated with the Centre or from the development of the external links and conduits to regional support agencies and the academia within the local area.

The management teams within each of the Centres build and develop these links over time to ensure they maintain a local knowledge of the availability of new initiatives and funding that may help small SME’s particularly with the signposting and promoting of grant availability. Each Centre holds regular networking events and seminars to help develop footfall through the Centres to assist with awareness of business issues.

All our Centres provide a mix of high quality office, studio and workshop space available in a range of sizes from small 1 or 2 man incubator units, up to entire floors for 50 people. This variation in style of unit and the different floor areas gives maximum flexibility to potential licensees as well as allowing for internal movement and growth as businesses develop, therefore alleviating the need for licensees to look elsewhere in the short to medium term.

Renovation of existing propertyAt Basepoint we are able to turn empty properties into successful Business Centres. In recent years and in partnership with Winchester City Council, we converted and extended the office building formerly owned by Thames Water on Winnal Valley Road into a 25,000 sq. ft. bespoke Business Centre offering 66 offices and studio units.

Building of new propertyBasepoint has helped local authorities meet their requirements for regeneration as well as job creation through the building of many new properties including centres in Dartford, Canterbury, Haywards Heath and Broxbourne.
