5 It has been narrated to us by Umran Bin Musa Bin Jafar, from Ali Bin Mabad, from Abdullahasws

bin Abdullah Al-Wasity, from Darsat Bin Abu Mansour, from Jabir who said:I asked Abu Jafar

    asws about the Spirit. He

    asws said: O Jabir, Allah

    azwjCreated the

creatures on three levels, and Made to descend them on three levels between them. That is in HisazwjBook where Heazwjhas Said: [56:8] Then the Companions of theRight Hand - What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? [56:9] And theCompanions of the Left Hand - what will be the Companions of the Left Hand?[56:10] And those Foremost will be Foremost [56:11] These will be thoseNearest to Al lah.

As for what has been Mentioned of the Foremost, they

    as are the Messenger

Prophetsasand non-Messenger Prophetsas. AllahazwjMade to be in themasfive Spirits The Holy Spirit, and the Spirit of Faith, and the Spirit of Strength, and the Spirit ofDesire, and the Spirit of the Body, and between that in HisazwjBook is where Heazwjhas Said [2:253] We have made some of these messengers to excel the othersamong them are they to whom Allah spoke, and some of them He exalted byrankand We gave clear miracles to Isa son of Marium, and strengthened himwith the holy spirit.

    Then He

after theirasown livelihoods; and by the Spirit of Desire, they taste the pleasure ofeating food, and permissible conjugAl-relations with the women; and by the Spirit ofthe Body they observe morality and intermingle (with the people).

And as for what has been Mentioned of the companions of the right hand, they arethe true believers. He

azwjhas Made four Spirits to be in them Spirit of the Faith, and

Spirit of the Strength, and Spirit of the Desire, and Spirit of the Body. The servant

does not cease to make use of these four Spirits until he commits any sins. If he iswith sin, the Spirit of Desire adorns it for him, and the Spirit of Strength encourages

    azwj, Allah

azwj Forgives him, and Reduces from the servant one of these four,

and that is the Statement of Allahazwj

[16:70] And Allah has created you, then Hecauses you to die, and of you is he who is brought back to the worst part of

life, so that after having knowledge he does not know anything. If the reductionis of the Spirit of the Strength, he would not have the ability to struggle against theenemy, nor look after the livelihood; and if the reduction from it is of the Spirit of theDesire, he would pass by the best of the daughters of Adamas, not coming to them;and there would remain in him the Spirit of the Faith and Spirit of the Body. With theSpirit of the Faith, he worships Allah

azwj, and with the Spirit of the Body, he conducts

(his actions) and intermingles (with the people) until there comes to him the Angel ofDeath.

.And as for what has been Mentioned of the companions of the left Hand, amongthem are the People of the Book. Allahazwj Blessed and High has Said [2:146]Those whom We have given the Book recognize him as they recognize theirsons, and a party of them most surely conceAl-the truth while they know (it).[2:147] The truth is from your Lord, therefore you should not be of thedoubters. They recognised the Messenger of Allahsawwand the successoraswsto beafter him

saww, and they concealed what they recognised from the truth, in rebellion

and in envy. Their Spirit of the Faith was take away from them, and they were Madeto be with three Spirits the Spirit of the Strength, and the Spirit of the Desire, andthe Spirit of the Body, then they were likened to be as cattle. HeazwjSaid [7:179]they are as cattle, nay, they are in worse errors , because the animals bear theSpirit of the Strength, and they react by the Spirit of the Desire, and they movearound by the Spirit of the Body.

6 It has been narrated to us by Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al-Husayn Bin Saeed, fromMuhammad Bin Dawood, from Ibn Haroun Al-Abady, from Muhammad, from Al-Asbagh Bin Nabatawho said:

A man came up to Amir-ul-Momineenasws

and said, The people are thinking that abeliever neither commit adultery, nor does he steals, and nor does he drink thealcohol and nor does he make use of the interest and nor does he sheds bloodunlawfully while in the state of a devout believer. This has been a great thing to meand from it my chest is hurting until I think that this is the servant who, to the extentthat I thought that this is the servant who Prays to my Qiblah, and supplicates mysupplication, and gives to me in marriage and I give to him in marriage, and inherits

from me and I inherit from me, that he would come out of the faith for a slight sin ofhis.

not Pray the Prayer at night (Tahajjud), nor the Fasting by the Day, nor does hestand in the rows of the people. This is the deficiency of the Spirit of the Faith.Nothing will adversely affect him, Allah

    azwjWilling.

And the deficiency from it of the Spirit of the Strength is where he does not tostruggle against his enemies, nor for the seeking of his livelihood. And the deficiencyfrom it of the Spirit of the Desire is where he would pass by the daughters of Adam asand does not come to them, and does not stand. And there remains the Spirit of theBody, he conducts (his actions) and intermingles (with the people) until there comesto him the Angel of Death. So, this is a good situation, because Allah

    azwjDid that.

And if there come to his situations regarding his strength, and his youth indulges insins, the Spirit of the Strength encourages him and the Spirit of the Desiresdecorates it for him, and the Spirit of the Body makes him indulge in it until heindulges in the error. If it so happens, that he gets touched by the deficiency from thefaith, he will not get anything out of it, ever, unless he repents. If he were to repenthaving recognised the Wilayah, Allah

azwjwill Accept his repentance, and if he returns

to sinning, and he has left the Wilayah, Allahazwjwill Make him enter the Fire of Hell.

As for the companions of the left, they are the Jews and the Christians as per theStatement of Allahazwj [2:146] Those whom We have given the Book recognizehim as they recognize their sons, and a party o f them most surely conceAl-thetruth while they know, [2:147] The truth is from your Lord . The Messenger

from Allahazwj to them, is with the Truth therefore you should not be of thedoubters .

    Condemned them. He

    azwj

Crucified their Spirit of the Faith, and Let three Spiritsreside in their bodies Spirit of the Strength, and Spirit of the Desire, and Spirit ofthe Body, then Heazwj Likened them to the cattle.
