We are excited to announce our 11th Annual Wags & Wine Extravaganza at Barrel Oak Winery! Celebrating 11 years of saving lives; 11years of bringing families together; 11 years of building friendships and creating an amazing community and saving over 16,000 lives.

For three hours, guests will enjoy the beautiful Virginia landscape, drink amazing wine, bid on incredible silent auction items, and learn swing dancing to a live band with GottaSwing!

All of this to benefit Lucky Dogs and Cats!

Since 2009, Lucky Dog Animal Rescue has been working to save shelter dogs and cats from certain euthanasia across the rural south and as far away as Puerto Rico and Hawaii. We are a volunteerpowered, 501c3 organiz tion, and since our founding we have saved more than 16,000 dogs can cats from high-kill, underfunded rural shelters.

Every year, 3-4 million animals are euthanized in shelters across the country. Without organizations like us, this number would more than double. What is so amazing about Lucky Dog is that we do this without a facility or our own. We don't discrimination based on breed. We don't turn our backs on animals with expensive medical conditions. We rely heavily on unpaid volunteers who welcome dogs at transports, provide them with loving foster homes, drive them to and from adoption events, and carefully screen prospective adopters. To continue to provide this exceptional care to animals down on their luck, we need the help of supporters and donors like YOU!
