AS Monaco collected more money tan any other European club over the last 5 years(851m€). Other usual suspects such as Atlético, Benfica and Dortmund are joined by giantsJuventus, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea. Since establishment of Financial FairPlay top clubs are also forced to sell players to balance their accounts
Joao Félix (126m€), Griezmann (120m€) and Hazard (100m€), all of them by La Liga sides,were the most expensive transfers of the summer. Four La Liga transfers made the Top 10(vs only 2 last year). Only 3 top 10 signings where made by Premier League clubs (vs 7 lastseason).

FC Barcelona and Real Madrid’s combined investment represented a 42% of La LigaSantander total. Despite being higher than last year’s record low (30%), the polarizationtrend continues far away from 80% dominance from the two giants in 2010
The total investment made by the rest of clubs from La Liga Santander excluding RealMadrid and Barcelona represents more than half of the total for 5th year in a row (vs 20%in 2009/10)
227m€ worth of players (39% of total) signed by FC Barcelona over the last 3 years had toleave on loan at some stage. For Real Madrid it was 56m€ worth of players (25%) releasedon loan

FC Barcelona and Real Madrid continue to decrease the number of home-grown players intheir squads. The Catalans have now 9 (down from 17 in 2013) and Real Madrid have only 6(down from 9 last year)
Real Madrid has once again the most stable squad despite breaking their all-time spendingrecord, with players spending an average 4,2 years in the club
