The PURE ministry invites you to attend the Sunday night worship on October 4. Our PURE friends will be in attendance for communion and will be hosting an ice cream fellowship in the fellowship hall for you afterwards. Please come, meet and interact with your PURE brothers and sisters. You will love it and so will they.
† Deacon Ordination, Sunday, October 11Please join us as we ordain six new deacons and install two previously ordained deacons to Bonsack Baptist in a special service on Sunday evening, October 11 at 6:30 p.m. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.
† Trunk or TreatTrunk or Treat will be Saturday, October 31, from 4:30–6 p.m., in our upper parking lot. Cars arrive at 4 p.m. Candy will be collected beginning next Sunday, October 4; place in the specially labeled tubs located throughout the church. Your cars are also needed. Sign up through your Sunday school class or the church office. Extra helpers are needed to cook and serve hot dogs, cotton candy and beverages. Call the church office to volunteer.
† Church Van & Bus Drivers Are Needed!The church is in need of non-CDL drivers for the van and CDL drivers for the bus. Please contact Danny in the church office (977-5701 x 213) if you would like to become a part of this important ministry. Funding is available to help with the cost to acquire a CDL.

There will be health screenings and workshops of interest to seniors (age 55+) on Wednesday, September 30 from 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. at the Salem Civic Center, sponsored by the Mental Health Foundation of the Roanoke Valley. † Flu Shots Available for Senior Adults, October 15The Roanoke County, (Town of Vinton) Health Department, will be giving flu shots on Thursday, October 15 to any senior adult or Food Pantry cliental here at Bonsack between 8:30 a.m. and 12 noon in the Fellowship Hall. Your insur-ance or Medicare Card will need to be shown when the shots are administered.
