    Good Neighbour Award

On May 15 Dave Ball was presented with the Good Neighbour Award for Area 4. Dave has been a val-ued member of the Bannerman Community League Execuve for over 25 years. Recently, in addion to his

role as president, he has taken the lead role on our community Espalier Orchard and Garden Commiee.

This project will enable us to grow food and fruit in our community for many years to come. Thanks to

Daves hard work and leadership, garden plots are ready for planng and will provide our gardeners with

fresh vegetables in the coming months. Dave hopes that in the future the orchard will link older and young-

er generaons in projects such as canning and preserving the fruit that we grow.

In keeping with his last name Dave also takes a lead role in the Northeast Baseball program; enthusi-

    ascally organizing teams and coaching.

Dave can always be counted on to come forward and do whatever needs to be done to make our

community a beer place to live painng over gra, picking up supplies, repairing our buildings.

    Congratulaons Dave!
