Outline This office tower is located in Pudong, the new development district as a gate from the Shanghai International Airport. The exterior was designed to beconsistent to the surrounding skyscrapers taking account of the scenery from across the Huangpu River comprising the Old Chinese philosophical beliefsof circular heaven and square ground as its identity. The spindle shaped higher floors comprise hotel suited service offices and square floors comprisetenant offices. The podium, curved along the Huangpu River, comprises commercial use. Contrast between the classical grand feel of carved orders andlightness of carved glass has been emphasized by steep inclination on the façade.
