    Backgrounds:Backgrounds:

    The BSGN was organized by the SuccessorGeneration Trainees (SGTs) at CAPWIP Institute forGender, Governance and Leadership in YSTAPHIL,Paraaque City on June 14, 2004.

    The training is a one-month Summer Youth Camporganized by the Federation of United MindanawanBangsamoro Women MPCs in partnership with theCenter for Asia Pacific Women In Politics (CAPWIP)through the Bangsamoro Successor Generation

    Program for Building Transformative Communities forthe potential youth leaders from all over Mindanao.

    Three regional coordinating offices wereestablished in Zamboanga City, Marawi Cityand Cotabato City. A Liason officer in Manilawas also designated and the FUMBWMPCs

    serves as the secretariat.Later, after the 2nd batch training in January2005, the Davao and SOCSKSARGEN Regionwas added and it has now 64 members.
