United by their love of music, over 350 elementary through high school students from southeast Michigan come together each week to fulfill their desire to deepen their musical experience.

Through our four-tiered orchestra program, we teach, guide, and foster musical growth in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.

Welcome to the 2016-2017 Music Season!

The International Academy Central Campus Music Boosters are delighted to support our IACC Music Program for another year of music performance and student development. Welcome particularly to parents new to the school. We are always amazed at the growth, achievement and developing confidence that we see in the students over each school year. Last year saw an unprecedented number of finalists at State Competition and at Divisional competition. We also have a new high in the number of Bass players; from a low of three, we now have nine!

The Music Boosters need your support to ensure the continuation of a strong music program. Unfortunately our summer mailing letter was not physically sent to you and our donations suffered—please help us make up that gap now and donate what you can. We also value and need your time. The IACCMB Board is hard-working, friendly and open to people with energy to carry out new ideas—join us. This fall, we have already agreed to fund new music stands and racks and scholarship requests.

We welcome Dr. Jui-Chao Wang, who is proving to be a kind, steady force behind the Orchestras and Bel Canto. She can sing, play and conduct so beautifully—she inspires students in every lesson. We wish her every success on her IA Music journey. We are grateful to Mr. LaNoue for his tireless work this fall. He has helped us and the students through the transition as Mr. Wolf moved on to his new position. We thank BHHS and Kirk in the Hills for sharing their performance spaces with us.
