History The origin of bambang is known as Bang-Bang. Bang-Bang is an isinay word which means a pit or hole in the ground. Significantly, from this single word, the present name of the past progressing town of Bambang is derived. What makes it so is the fact that this pit is used to mark the end of bloody tribal feuds and bitter rivalries when the ilongots (bungkalots) and the igorots who inhabited the eastern and western fringes of this municipality decided to stop recurring bloodshed by burying their weapons in the common pit. The significance would go deeper and every residents desire and sense of safety and security would be assured if everyone would only strive to live up to the other connotation of their towns name which is PEACE.

LOCATION: Bambang is centrally located in the province bounded on the north by the towns of Bayombong and Quezon; on the south by the towns of Aritao, Dupax del Norte and Dupax del Sur, on the east by the towns of Kasibu and Quezon; and on the west by the town of Kayapa.

Nueva Vizcaya The province of Nueva Vizcaya used to be a territory of the Cagaya Valley Region, which was once an integral political unit with one governor. In 1839, the Governor Luiz Lardizabal issued an order creating Nueva Vizcaya into politico-military convince upon the advice of the alcalde mayor of Cagayan. The order was approved by a royal Decree on April 10, 1841. The present territory of Nueva Vizcaya was the result of changes emanating from the formal creation of the province of Isabela on May of 1856, wherein a position of its northern areas was ceded to the newly born province. The organization in 1908 of the province of Ifugao further reduced the area of Nueva Vizcaya, which was forced to give up its northwest territory. The survey executed by the bureau of lands in 1914 further cause the diminution of its area and reduced again upon the enactment of the administrative code in 1917. Even with this alices of land given away to the new emerging provinces, the province of Nueva Vizcaya still held a territory. But then again in 1971 with the passage of Republic Act No. 6394, QUIRINO, which was then sub province of Nueva Vizcaya, was separated from its mother province and made into a regional province. Is today Nueva Vizcaya occupies a land of approximately 3,903.90 square km. which is about 10.72percent of the regional land and 1.30 percent of the total land area of the country. The province of Nueva Vizcaya is located in the north-central part of Luzon in Region 02. It is bounded on the north and northeast by the provinces of Ifugao and Isabela, on the east and southeast of Quirino and Aurora, respectively on the south by Nueva Ecija and on the west by Benguet and Pangasinan. The province is actually bounded by three mountain ranges covered with forest and grasslands, namely the sierra Madre on the east, the Cordillera on the west and the Caraballo on the south. The province is 287.0 kilometers north of Metro Manila. Nueva Vizcaya has an airport at Barangay Lantad, Bagabag which is only 20 kilometers from Bayombong. It caters only chartered flight since the Philippine Airlines stopped operations in the province in 1978.

Investing in Real Estateis still the best form of investment hands down no matter where you live or how old you are. Of course it makes it easier if you have the money to actually invest or put as a down payment on the property you want to buy. However, not everybody has a nest egg just waiting to be hatched into real property investments. Most of us are just hard working stiffs who are trying hard to make a living. So, How can I invest in real estate? you ask. You can and with the determination you will!

Natural Resources of Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, PhilippinesProtect the environment: Sewer Systems of the PhilippinesIt is sad but true that as of the year 2012 the rivers of the Philippines continue to be the #1Sewer Systems of the Philippines.Protect & Save the Rivers.Do not let your sewer drain into the river. Your community can be the first to initiate this project.Build your riverbank protection with abuilt-in gutter system. Reforest within Ten Years Guaranteed! Plant More TreesLet us plant more trees in every barangay in the entire Philippines. It does not make any difference if the barangay is urban, partially urban or rural; we need more trees. Trees will prevent erosion, provide oxygen, prevent green house effect, and even a place of business for the shade tree mechanic. The Philippines is a tropical country and practically anything will grow. The DENR has the planting trees project that goes on every year. Lots of picture taking for the media. Planting trees one by one is the human way of doing it. This individual planting of trees is good if done to line the roads and highways with trees or along fences or property divisions, or if you have a plantation. To reforest the nation of the Philippines we have to plant trees the mother nature way. Sow the seeds during the rainy season. Go deep into bald forests and plant trees by

9.sowing seeds. If theres not enough volunteers to do this, use the military helicopters to fly over the designated areas and sow the seeds.Guaranteed within a few years, The Philippines will be lush again. >>Read More

Save The Rivers in the Philippines. They are Dying. We are using our rivers as our sewer system. If you ask a Filipino, Are the Filipinos a clean people? The answer is an automatic, Yes!. However, the Filipinos are suffering from the same disease or attitude as most people do, and that is the NIMBY disease or NIMBY attitude. (NIMBY) Not In My Back Yard. So it is OK to dump my garbage and sewer there. Not mine! Someone else will take care of it.This attitude is killing our rivers. Your great-grandparents, grandparents or parents were once proud to tell the stories of how they enjoyed swimming in the river behind your house or nearby. However, you cant say the same or tell the same stories to your kids or grand kids. Why? Because your generation is killing the river.Contact: Secretary Ramon J. P. Potable WaterWe have so much water in the Philippines and yet very little to drink.

Renewable and Sustainable EnergyInstead of relying too much on Diesel fuel and Coal to generate the majority of Philippines Electrical energy Supply, we can concentrate more on renewable and sustainable source of energy such as: Hydro Power, Solar Power, and Wind Power. We have too many black outs.
