Research Experience:In conjunction with the Georgia Aquarium, myself, the senior intern and the owner of Team ECCO out of Hendersonville, NC, monitored the resident female Bamboo shark who began laying eggs without a male present. This was the second ever documented case. The shark would lay between 1-2 eggs every 2 weeks. The team monitored the health of the shark, size and growth of each egg, change in size of the yolk, and any development that occurred within the egg.

Special Awards:

Youngest recipient to date of AB Tech’s Student Business Incubator Program. At age 16 I applied and competed against 17 adults for entry to this program for a $5000 grant and help with starting my own business (6 were accepted to the program). I launched the online business at age 17 and sold it in 2013 at age 19.
